This has the potential to be one of the best places you will never stay. The location and the surroundings are amazing, meaning you wake up to beautiful views every day. The domes are great, spacious and well equipped. The staff are lovely especially those at the bar and pizza oven. We were out of season which may account for some of the issues, such as slow responses from managers when we told them about damage to our dome. You can see a huge amount of work being done and the place will be amazing. We will be back in a few years.

Excellent time out from busy life! The suites are amazing! Breakfast service was wonderful! The view from our pod was breathtaking! We asked to do horse riding on the beach and reception was very happy to alternate times and dates due to the weather: I am very grateful for this service! The units are very clean and staff followed all hygiene protocol necessary. I am grateful for the time alone with my husband. The private walks, hikes as well as various other activities offered took my mind off a very challenging start to the year. The pizza restaurant on site is OUTSTANDING! The pizza and pasta was as delicious and fresh as true Italian cuisine.

Room Tip: Ask for a pod off the main road for extra tranquility. Pre-reserving restaurants is optimal.

What an amazing weekend! We stayed 3 days in a dome house. The dome was exquisite. Both of us as a couple had already stayed in a dome in a trip to Jordania and we wanted to take the kids to experience it, and I have to compare the extraordinary quality that reserva alecrim has. The domes have a beautiful decor where you feel at home in a rustic, elegant space. The breakfast is delicious and is a great experience. Fresh bread & croissants, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, cake, jams, orange juice, cheese and ham and prosciutto. All incredibly delicious and extremely fresh and just baked. The kids were delirious and so were we! The views and activities are so good that we did not even leave the resort to do other things. First time this happens! The two restaurants were also exquisite with food for the children and some elaborate combinations for us adults, that love a good twist and rich combination of flavours, chef’s style. It gave us the perfect combination at a very good price. And last but not least, the sweetest team that took care of us, mainly me who in the first day twisted my ankle. I have to say that even hurt they made my weekend perfect! For sure Will come back and bring family & friends. Thank you all for treating us so well!💚

myself and my partner are utterly shocked at the way the owner spoke to us after the gates closed leaving us locked inside. Appalling service, learn how to treat guests. Very rude, unpleasant man, we had come to see this location for a two week trip which needless to say we will not be spending here nor recommending

We are more than disappointed by our stay. For the total price of 185€ it does NOT worth it at all, looks more like a tourism ripoff place. We will never ever come back. First of all, it was our honey moon and while Eco resort knew about it, nothing has been done contrary to all the other places were we stayed in Portugal. The Bar at the swimming pool was closed (like every Wednesday). I had to book myself a table at the other restaurant FOGGO while it belongs to the resort itself (do not ask me why, nonsense). Night was the worst part of our stay. Domes are very closed to each other, we can see your neighboor's terrace, you are not in the middle of the nature contrary to what the pictures show. Its ends to nightmare when the couple next to us talked loudly in the silence of the night till 4am. All night long I was frozen, heat did not work, no wood provided for the chimney. We woke up in a very humid dome/tent. We hate it. It was the worst stay ever. No need to talk about poor breakfast neither (25€ for orange juice, 2 croissants and 2 slides of ham/commercial cheese). I have shared all my remarks during our stay and before we leave, no commercial gesture was suggested, no reception from 10pm, no help possible.

Great place for relax. We stayed in a dome facing the sea (well into the horizon). It was our first time in a dome, very comfortable, warm and spacious. We were here during a storm, very windy and still was quite pleasant inside. The scenery couldn’t be more idyllic, olive and cork trees near by and sea in the horizon, sunsets are amazing. Splendid star view, since there is almost no “light noise” around. Summertime must be even better using the infinity pool or the bio pool!
Will return!

My family and I adored this place. There are a series of "natural pools" - essentially a series of manmade lakes fed by water filtered by reed beds - brimming with wildlife. It's not for the timid or squeamish - the are countless frogs, salamanders, fish and even (harmless) snakes sharing the water with you, but for those like us who enjoy that sort of thing, it's nothing short of heavenly! The views and ambience are in a league of their own. There's a small but spectacular infinity pool for those who can't face the critters.

Domes are generous in size and luxuriously appointed. In fact, the whole experience feels very exclusive with pool service and turn down. We had initially thought it would be pretty much populated with families, but we noticed a lot of couples on a romantic getaway. It's certainly that kinda place.

You do need a car, and it's worth knowing that there's no shop on site, but for that "away from it all" feeling, we all reckon this place is hard to beat.

I never thought I could be so astonished by a resort.. Everything is just beautiful, the houses, the nature, the plants, the beaches, the food nearby and at the pizza bar by the bio pool, the little frogs on every lotus leaf, the hiking trails around, the people. This is the right place to love and to feel and to be.

9 am: the lawn mower is out and I would like to sleep after a night hearing some sort of electrical pump just above our head (or was it under the house?) going on and off ….and on.

Eco? cars are allowed to drive around the site rather than being parked by the main gate and people walking or using golf electric golf carts to move around in the resort. A maid was seen leaving the diesel engine of her VAN running whilst attending to some matter in a dome.

Bring your own bedside table and wardrobe as there is nowhere to hang your clothes on put your specs aside after reading a bit before going to sleep.

Also be ready to struggle to close any internal doors. Carpenters, please.

Positives? The location, the peace and quiet, cars, lawnmower and pumps allowing, the proximity to Lisbon and to the beaches.

Needs more time, careful thought and much, much more attention to detail.

The location is amazing as well as the sustainable concept it was built upon. It is noticeable that everything was carefully planned and built. The domes fit perfectly the surroundings as well as the Eco-Suites and Safari tent. You really get the feeling “I could live here”. Surely a place to return
