Alessandro speaks English very well and Gabriella not so much (not any), but her heart is definitely on display. We enjoyed our stay in the lovely town of Asolo. It is the perfect location for an architect interested in Scarpa and Palladio, plus the Prossecco road is very nearby, too. For us a car was necessary, but A and G... More

If you have a car then you don't need to stay here...or indeed anywhere in central Asolo. If you can take a taxi, bus, bike...or don't mind walking.... I'd advise you to stay outside. This place has the only other Cipriani outside of Venice and there's just a whiff of uber-Cotswolds meets Costa Smeralda 'set' about it. We've Italian friends... More

Not everyone would like this hotel, but I found it charming. It is a tad worn, but it is perfectly situated in Asolo, and the innkeeper helped us find parking despite the presence of a major antique market during our visit. The fact that our room was relatively spacious and that it overlooked an alley more than compensated for the... More

We loved our 1 night stay in Asolo at the Hotel Duse. The room was spacious and well appointed. Best pillows and bathroom of our entire 2 weeks in Italy! It is located right on the square, easy walk to everything. The town is utterly charming. The church is right next door so be prepared for a bell "wake-up" call....but... More

This wonderful hotel is located in the heart of the historical part of the town. We had a room with a spectacular view. The staff is kind and helpful and the homemade cakes served for breakfast are excellent. It is worth a visit

The Hotel Duse is as charming as the hostess. Her restaurant recommendations were flawless and we were pleased that she pushed us to use our growing Italian language skills. If you need an escape from Venice and Rome and Florence, go to Asolo and stay at the Hotel Duse. You will be glad you did.

My boyfriend and I fled Venice and headed to the hills for a romantic getaway to Asolo, based on a faint memory he had of it being nice ten years earlier. We had no idea where we were going to stay, but the man at the local cafe pointed us to Duse. Gabriella was extremely warm and helpful, and we... More

this was my first time to italy! a 30th anniversary trip from my husband. We booked at the Hotel Duse as it fit within our budjet. What a charming place! we had a corner room that overlooked the centre of town. The view was breathtaking! Gabriella was wonderful!!!! She was very helpful as were all the other staff. Rooms were... My parents already stayed in the hotel some weeks before and told me, how nice it is. We decided to return again during our one-week-trip through northern Italy. Hotel Duse is a quite small hotel in the center of Asolo. Considering this place as health resort and all the luxury shops and jewelry stores around, the Hotel has very reasonable... More

The Hotel is right on the main square of this small village, easy to find. The rooms overlooking the square have a beautiful view, and despite being right over the main access road, they are quiet at night. Our room had big windows and was quite attractive. Breakfast was average but coffee is freshly made for you--something disappearing in the... More
