I posted only one photo - the written proof that this 5-star hotel requests guests to check out at 11am / it is a shame what some businesses are doing under the excuse of Corona Virus. Upon arrival (between 10-11pm), there was only one person working, all restaurants, bars closed, no room service, no one to help with your luggage (of course also not on departure). It was a serious disappointment - not worth the price paid. And, we have not even spoken about the (absent) infrastructure in house.

We have such wonderful memories of gorgeous Hotel Albergo Al Sole on the hilltop town of Asolo which we used as a base to explore the area. The three days we had was not enough to drive around the picturesque Prosecco region and enjoy wine tasting along with the excellent choice of restaurants with stunning vistas. The concierge was very informative, and gave us all the information we needed to make our days varied with lovely activities. We particularly enjoyed spending a day in Padua. To have a drink on the balcony, overlooking magnificent Asolo, at the end of a busy day, was a treat. The dinner that followed was excellent. The service from all the staff was warm, professional and pleasant at all times. The decor of our spacious suite was exquisite and had lovely views from every window. We loved the hotel and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

What a gorgeous hotel perfectly located on the main square. Asolo is a quiet medieval village perched atop a hill in Veneto. Albergo Al Sole is a somewhat recently renovated villa. Rooms were plenty large enough and super comfortable. A huge breakfast is included and seating is in a lovely dining room overlooking the town. In the warmer seasons breakfast can be enjoyed on a large terrace off the dining room. For an intimate dinner there is a grotto that can reserved. although it was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed at, it was worth every penny.

Asolo is a hilltop village that is almost too perfect (the large number of beautiful villas surrounding it reaffirms that notion). Albergo Al Sole perches over the main square and is utterly charming. Run by two sisters, Sylvia and Elena, it sums up their warmth, elegance, attention to detail, and care. Definitely book Room 102 if you can, the one room at the front with a balcony. Breakfast was lovely, on the terrace overlooking town, and that spot was equally nice for a late afternoon Aperol Spritz . In a world of hotel chains and look alike rooms, the Al Sole was like a comfy, but fashionable Italian shoe. We can't wait to go back.

The hotel is a little gem overlooking the city of Asolo with some of the most amazing views. It’s clean, luxurious, functional and includes a private parking. The staff were polite, friendly and professional. The restaurant is the one thing you cannot miss - make sure to book in advance, as you do not want to miss the chance to try some amazing food while enjoying a stunning view. The proseco is essential. Grazie!
