The peace and quiet of the place and waking up to stunning views had an immediate relaxation effect on me. The photos you see on the Agriturismo Pereti site are certainly not embellished. My friends and I stayed at this perfect retreat in the first week of September when temperatures dropped to comfortable 25-30C during the day and high season was nearing its end which also meant that we had the pool and attention of our wonderful hosts pretty much to ourselves. Gaya and Marketka are the most gentle, caring and making you feel welcomed guests that you will encounter. Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful including home made yogurts and cakes - lovely with local espresso! Rooms are spacious and clean with mandala type of paintings on the walls. Location is excellent to make trips to local towns (Siena is 60min drive) and the seaside (40min drive). Gaya was very helpful with sharing his tips for trips. If you visit the place for the first time, I recommend you plan to arrive during daylight. We arrived late at night and struggled to find the turning to Pereti. The sign post is very small and easily missed even during the daylight. Also, having a car is a "must" if you want to make trips.

My Girlfriend and I visited at the end of July this year, I don't think we could have gone anywhere with a more relaxed and peaceful environment. I think the highlights of the trip were the views from our room and the pool. We were able to sit outside our room which had a little veranda until late at night without many issues from bugs. Gaia and Marketa are lovely hosts and are always there to help you with anything from places to eat to just having a friendly chat. To get here you would definitely need a hire car as we did, unless you wish to stay at the agriturismo for your entire trip. There are many little villages nearby with lovely little places to eat and also some great views from the mountainside villages. There are also water-parks, beaches and a small theme park all within around an hour from here. I would also like to mention that the heat isn't too bad in the rooms at all. There is a tiny little kitchen next to the pool with small amounts of cutlery and plates, an electric single stove, microwave and also a fridge/freezer in there. We cooked a few meals in there for lunches and dinner sometimes which was quite fun. I would highly recommend visiting here if you enjoy: having a pool at your disposal to cool off after a long day, beautiful views, peace and tranquillity all around you and general relaxation. I would not recommend going here if you are wanting to be near a city (although day trips to cities would be easily doable from here), wanting 5 star hotel accommodation and people waiting on you 24/7 this is not the place to go. P.S. The breakfast although looking and sounding simple is simply exquisite!!!

If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet place in the mountains, this Agriturismo-Pereti is the place to visit. The rooms are not fancy but very clean and have everything one needs. There is no TV but there is internet. The host was one of the most caring, gentle, informative and kind persons I have ever met. The food was delicious with homemade breads and coffee cakes for breakfast in addition to eggs, meats, cheeses, fresh tomatoes, and fresh fruit. There are opportunities for meditation and spa relaxing. Easy to get to some hilltop villages and not too far to go to the larger cities. Nice restaurants nearby. It would be wonderful to go there again

Dear Sally, I want to thank you again for your visit at Pereti and for your beautiful words describing your experience with us. I am most humbled and happy at the same time. I hope your "would be wonderful" will become "will be wonderful" to go there again. And next time, we need to plan for a little bit more sun and less rain. Promise! Love / Gaia
