We were in Tuscany for a wedding which was being held nearby and chose this hotel from a list provided by the bride & groom. It turned out to be a great choice. The staff are friendly and relaxed and you really feel at home here. The rooms are all slightly different sizes and shapes but all comfortable and with...

We have just returned from a few days staying at this beautiful, friendly vineyard. Like Stephan, we had the Malva Suite for four of us in two bedrooms, which was everything we could have wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who sorted out taxis, very late lunch etc without hesitation and very efficiently. Will definitely return in...

An amazing place that is far more beautiful than imagined from looking at their website. Friendly and personal service. Staff waited up for us and served delicious food and wine when we arrived at 01.00 in the morning, 5 hours later than expected. The rooms are nice and clean, as is the whole venue. I will definitely be back again...

We were a group of 6 Swedish old school friends in our early 40s that held a mini-reunion at Tenuta del Fontino without our wives. Our days were spent mountain biking and the evenings enjoying the wonderful surroundings as well as eating and drinking the fantastic locally produced food, wine and beer. Everything was very well organised. The staff copped...

We stayed here as a couple, but actually were part of a party of 8 travelling to a wedding. I think for a family with small kids this place could be a good fit as they offer rooms with a kitchen, dining in the hotel in a big hall and there is a small pool. However, we found it to...

The hotel is really beautiful. Surrounded by a large garden with plenty of countless old trees. In the courtyard of the hotel we ate dinner, which was tasty and varied, applause for cooks! The is always discreet courteous, always helpful no matter what happens - if your daughter bites a bee o if you search best places to visit. Rooms...

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at this place. We booked over the phone and were given a price of EU80 per night for the room. When we checked out we were told that there had been a mistake, it should have been EU80 per person. We finally agreed to pay EU120 per night to put an end to this...

Tenuta del Fontino, a family-farm hotel with a horseback riding school and a modern winery, Massa Marittima Toscana Italy We invite you to spend a great holiday in our antique family-farm in Tuscany. La Tenuta del Fontino is located in the town of Massa Marittima, just a few miles from beautiful Accesa lake, which supplies water to our property and private lake. The property covers 700 hectares, of which about a quarter are fields, meadows and olive groves. Moreover, we own 16 hectares of vineyards - our pride and glory. The rest of our land is covered with the Mediterranean bush. We offer you a vacation in the true and authentic environment of Italian countryside, where you have a chance to taste the excellent Italian cuisine and hospitality based on a true family atmosphere and a high-skilled service. We offer beautiful rooms and suites, a rich continental breakfast buffet, a huge garden, a swimming pool with a magnificent view, a horseback riding school, an open-air breed of Tuscan pigs named Cinta Senese, our wines, tranquillity and countless attractions - all this and much more is waiting for you ! The sea is only 15 minutes away by car: Follonica received "The Blue Flag" award for the last 14 years, thanks to its well-maintained beaches with uncontaminated and clear waters. Vicinity of our hotel are the so-called Metalliferous Hills, where the mountains reach 1000 meters. In this vast area there are many fantastic trails and paths, to go on a walk, on horseback or mountain bike. And finally, an ice cream or an aperitif on the famous square of Massa Marittima, one of the most beautiful in Tuscany.
