The main house of Le Miccine has been fully renovated and restored while maintaining its original Tuscan charm. The house is divided into two fully furnished apartments with all essential commodities. Le Miccine is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region midway between Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti. It is ideally situated for day trips to famous cities such as Siena and Florence as well as to smaller towns like San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Greve in Chianti and others. For relaxing days free from travels Le Miccine has a large swimming pool available for guests. Wine enthusiasts will appreciate guided tours and wine tastings with our staff.
Was driving by and decided to stop to check the wine..Paula, the owner was in the office and gave us the history on the winery and some samples. She was very knowledgeable on her wines and very friendly. We had a great visit, bought a few bottles of wine and said good bye

About a week ago, my boyfriend and two of our friends rented the two bedroom apartment in Le Miccine, in Gaiole, Chianti. Wow! What a beautiful place. The bedrooms were beautiful (we had the big room and the bed was very comfortable), and the dining room (with a large, wooden table) and living area were comfy, cozy and large. There is even a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove. Every morning we would sit on our balcony and admire the lovely scenery (Le Miccine is a vineyard). The 2 ladies who run the place are extremely warm and welcoming. It's a great spot to base yourself if you are visiting vineyards around Tuscany or if you just want to relax and chill, you can go to the nearby village and stock up on groceries, and of course, getting wine is no problem since you are on a vineyard! Or you could have a lovely dinner cooked for you by Lorenzo, which we did (excellent). There is a swimming pool or if it's cooler, you can watch the DVDs, including, Under the Tuscan Sun!

Le Miccine is centrally located in Tuscany, between Radda & Gaiole, within easy striking distance to Sienna, Montepulciano and other Tuscan towns & vineyards. We were two couples staying in the Bella Vista apartment of the vineyard's villa 10-17 Sep 2016. The apartment is on the second floor and has two nice bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room and an equipped kitchen so you can prepare your meals. There is also a private terrace overlooking the vineyard where we sat virtually every night to drink wine & gaze out at the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The property also has gardens with tables and chairs, barbecues and a swimming pool (chilly but clean!). Since we stayed just before harvest the vines were full. We were fortunate to witness the mobile bottling operation - fascinating. A favorite day was to walk (one runner!) to a small village - Vertine - at the top of the hill, then down to Gaiole for a late lunch. Another was dinner prepared in our apartment by a local chef, arranged by Le Miccine's owner. They also suggested several excellent restaurants in the area. Overall a great experience we would revisit in a heartbeat!

The house was amazing, and the land just as beautiful. Paula and her Mum were very helpful. We couldn't have been more pleased. It is just a short drive to shops and restaurants, but the house is very quiet and rural. The pool was great.

Excellent place for everybody who loves Tuscany, great vievs and sun. Addition of helpful owner (Paula) and the neighbourhood of tons of grapes make this place extra original. Near you have Siena, Greve in Chianti, Radda in Chianti or Castellina in Chianti - all classic Tuscany villages. Mike

I found Le Miccine in an article in Delta's SKY magazine. I contacted the owner, Paula Cook, to investigate best dates to visit. My choices were June or September. Paula recommended September and she was spot on!
My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the villa the first week in September. The place was amazing! After a longer than anticipated drive from Positano, we arrived late and I unlocked the door. I was blown away. It was better than anything I could have imagined. The first day, we slept very late. No cell phones, no traffic noise and GREAT window coverings! When we awoke and ventured outside, we were greeted with a panoramic view worthy of a painting.
The staff (Sabrina and Chloe) were genuinely friendly and super helpful when needed, but very respectful of our privacy as well. The surrounding towns were storybook. Gaiole was quaint and quiet, Radda has gorgeous sunsets and good shopping. There is also a fabulous pizzeria between Radda and Gaiole called La Cantoniera, thought we also cooked a lot!
We spent time in Siena as well, but found ourselves most enjoying the villa and the surrounding small towns. Highly recommended and we will be back soon! I almost lost my wife to the grape harvest!

Paula Cook is a great wine maker and her villa is great too. Had the chance to stay there for a whole week and it was amazing. Tuscany charm combined with great comfort. The Chianti area is also beautiful. It is calm and absolutely charming.
