If you are looking for a " getaway from it all" accommodation among the midst of vineyards in stunning Tuscan countryside, that is certainly a place to be, Basic accommodation ( note the remote controls for air con and TV weren't in the room so not certain if either were functional) with a decent size swimming pool and looked after...

This place has absolutely beautiful surroundings and wonderful views from the garden. Breakfast was simple and well done - fruits, breads, cake, cereal, etc. As per previous reviews, one restaurant in the village which was really lovely. There's also a little shop on the side which sold enough goods for us to have an evening meal "at home" one evening...

Some of the staff did not speak English but they were very helpful and friendly. We got a room upgrade when we arrived, I don’t know why, to a superior room. These rooms are on the ground floor with private terraces with fantastic views towards the Toscana vineyard landscape surroundings. The rooms were large and very clean. Their gardens were...

First of all it is located in the very small but charming village San Sano, basically just a few houses, a restaurant and a small wine/deli shop (run by the same owner as the restaurant). It is a very calm and beautiful place, where you relax, swim in the pool, and visit vineyards. When we checked in they did upgrade...

Nothing wrong here. Small village, small hotel but wonderful for a stay. We stayed here a week in summer. Food was beyond compare, fresh ingredients, well prepared and well served. Room was small but adequate. Second floor with a nice view of the vineyards. Staff were all gracious, even though we do not speak Italian. Worth the drive but be...

A lovely tranquil stay in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. The owner and family are very attentive to the needs of their guests, so make you feel very welcome. Unfortunately the pool was not ready (May) but all other amenities were sufficient. You'll need a car to get around as it's quite remote but the hotel offers dinner with great...

This hotel was pretty poor when we stayed there for one night in April 2013,but we made allowances as we were " out of season". So we decided to return this year and give it the benefit of the doubt. We booked 2 deluxe rooms back in January/ February. We arrived on 8 th June for a two night stay...

An old Castle turned to hotel with a restaurant run by the owners family, located right in the field of San Sano offered us one of our best evenings in Sienna. We enjoyed one of the large rooms which offers all modern amenities but the highlight was in the restaurant. We were invited to dine with the owners and some...

This is the hotel by which I compare all others. Very highly recommended. If possible, visit on Sunday, so that you can walk to the neighboring winerys and enjoy the tours and tastings and make a day of it (dont forget to order you taxi ahead of time...enjoy)
