We had a wonderful time at this beautiful winery! The wine and food was excellent! The owner and his family go out of their way to give you an experience you will never forget! The cooking classes are amazing and so much fun! Our day spent at the Sant' Appiano winery was the highlight of our trip to Florence! Can't... More

We didn't stay at the hotel. We visited the winery here on the way back to Florence from Siena. Recommended by our driver. Great recommendation! It's a beautiful place and the inside is built in an old chapel, or at least cellars, as I recall. The staff was very friendly, the food was excellent, and the wine was delicious. We... More

Sant Appiano wine cellar was one of our favorite stops in Tuscany. It sits on a beautiful hill, off the beaten path, and away from all the tourists. No big busses here! Neomi was expecting us and the antipasti was on our plates when we arrived. It was so nice because we were starving! She addressed my nut allergy concerns... More

Me and my friends from New York had a wonderful wine tasting experience in this place. It wasn't my first wine tasting experience, but I particularly appreciated this one. I tasted a good part of their selection of tuscan wines and then Naomi (I think this was her name), recommended me a "rosé" wine, without any doubt my favorite one.... More

We spent a few nights here visiting from Finland and from Trento, Italy. The owner was so generous and nice when organizing a wine tasting for us. In addition to the luxorious wines we got to taste, he provided us with the most glorious home-made tiramisu ever! Seriously, it was the best tiramisu I have ever tasted, and I would... More

Been on many wine tours. The location was a bit out of the way and I am not sure we would have found it if not for our amazing tour guide. Tried 10 selections of wine served with a delicious meal. Served graciously by our hostess. Wine was so good (particularly the Chianti) that I sent a case home. Very... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch and ended up spending over an hour in this fascinating establishment. The dinning room is located in the wine cellar and has an old world charm that makes for a trip back in time. Some history, lots of excellent food and wine shipped home all in one afternoon.

We did this as part of our tour. Wow what an experience. Francesco gave us a tour of the cellar and then we went to lunch. What an experience, the lasagne was to die for, two servings later. There was so much good and wine tasting, great hospitality.

My family went for the wine tasting dinner. At first we were concerned with the small portion cheese and meat because we weren't sure what we had signed up for, once the food and wine started flowing we fell in love! The homemade lasagna was an all around favorite. All of the different wines were fantastic -we ordered 8 to... More

We absolutely loved visiting this family operated winery- it was the highlight of our 2 week European vacation! We loved the food and wine pairings - charcuterie, handmade lasagne, pork w salad from the garden, and amazing biscotti. I suggest coming in the afternoon for a long lunch tasting
