The experience was a little public sector, or youth hostelly, slow and unresponsive staff, tired looking terraces, rubbish inc a sofa outside the gate to the street below the hotel. Breakfast was very basic, no visible staff, loads of reserved tables and none for us, had to track down someone to get us set up. Not much of a bar. Def not a 4 star.
The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. The town is near the ruins on the coast and there were lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Free parking available and only a ten minute walk to the beach. Our room had a balcony with partial sea views
Good sized clean rooms. Meals could be better - limited dinner menu and breakfast heavy on the pastries . Plenty of other dining options close by . Dominated by coach parties as on the must to be seen sites given the ancient temples .
The Hotel was clean (not filthy as other reviewers wrote). Offers a shuttle to the beach which is not necessary as the beach is not far. Our room had an excellent view. Breakfast was good. Nothing to complain about hotel Admeto and we’ll stay again if we come back to Selinunte.
The hotel is very filthy. Everything is filthy, the reception, the restaurant, the rooms, the beach bus ... The furniture is cheap and old. Food is horrible. The beach bus almost never comes in time and, as I said, is very filthy. It is not a 4 star hotel, for sure
We’ve spent 3 nights in Hotel Admeto with two babies and we were impressed by the kindness of the receptionist Eleonora and the chef de salle Liborio. They helped us any time we needed any tipe of information or help to prepare baby food. The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast buffet is good and with a really great view! I would recommend it when visiting Selinunte, it is close to the areas of major interest :) in the picture, the view from our room (it was stormy 😅)
Modern, clean hotel in good location in the centre of town a few blocks from the beach and within walking distance ofthe archeological site. Very helpful staff and fantastic buffet breakfast on the top floor with awesome views overthe sea and the temples.
Best hotel in marinella di Selinunte , service is very good and helpful,, restaurant food is also good,,, the best part is the sea view it’s amazing 😊 but the problem is here the transportation is very bad there s no frequent buses
We stayed at this hotel in the height of the season in August, so consequent it was very busy, so I guess we didn’t see it at its best, breakfast was chaotic but the food was OK, the room and balcony were very good, and you can walk to the Archeological site which is worth a visit. BE WARNED, not the hotels fault but the smell from the Algae in the port is disgusting at times, on arrival it was stomach churning, and it was one of the reasons we left early. The hotel really could do with a pool as the beach is a shuttle away and this goes periodically.
Wonderful experience with a warm welcome to the best of the Sicilian life. I highly recommend the hotel Admeto retreat. Orazio the owner is really nice and helpful as the whole staff. Clean room and incredible delicious food!!
