The Relais Corte Palmieri is a real jewel in the heart of old Gallipoli. We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend it. However, my first impressions of the town were not so favourable. The newer part of town doesn't have the charm of the historic quarter, which sits on an island linked by a short bridge. Because the old... More

Recently stayed for three nights in the Palmieri and was blown away by the service from the moment we checked in. Nicolette talked us informatively through the local area and asked what we were looking for before advising accordingly. The Palmieri is a quirky collection of 20 well appointed rooms amalgamated into one hotel complex. There are also countless relaxation... More

Centrally located on Island, this hotel was clean, quiet and friendly, serving a good breakfast. The room we had was large and the mattress extra comfortable. Despite Hotels.com messing up the reservation and costing us more we highly recommend this lovely hotel and personable staff.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of May. The hotel boasts some wonderful terraces with the top one giving a great view of the rooftops of Gallipoli. Breakfast was abundant and delicious with lots of choice, served on an outdoor terrace. The room was great, everything we needed, spacious and quiet (not sure about accessibility as I don't... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights near the end of our time in Puglia. The hotel is truly beautiful and charming. The highlight each morning was the rooftop breakfast. The best breakfasts we had on our entire trip. The most impressive aspect for me was the staff. They were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. For example, I... More

Really beautiful B&B, nice airy light rooms and lots of nice terraces to relax on. Location is really good as well, easy walk to most places in Gallipoli and I wouldn't worry about not being right on the sea because you get a really good view from some of the terraces. Had two really good nights here.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in the middle of May, as part of our tour around Puglia. Let me begin by saying that the reception staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful during our stay, but the positive experience stops there. I'll try to recount all the pain points: - the room... More

Period : end of May I've been staying in this outstanding hotel with my wife and our little boy (2 years old) for 6 nights. It was just perfect from the start with a great surprise: they came to pick us up with a little typical car down the port to help us with all our luggage (also it was... More

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. It's easy to find in the old town, near the ramp up from the port car park and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a split level room and due to some bad weather we were stuck in it for some time. It lacked comfortable seating and wasn't very... More

This hotel is centrally located in the old city. It is imaginately designed and tastefully furnished. Transfer of bags and car parking arrangements are smooth & efficient. Almost all breakfasts in Puglia are good, but this was the best. But the outstanding feature is the friendly and thoughtful people at reception- nothing too much trouble and always available.
