Our host could not have been more helpful from the off and this set the tone for our stay. A previously abandoned villa beautifully restored to create a mini village of apartments about a mile from the centre if Sarnano. The view of the town from the poolside is simply stunning. Rooms are tastefully decorated in rustic style, clean and... More

Tremendously friendly people offering immaculate apartments, presented in very professional yet informal style. Easy reach for hilltop towns, trattorias, music bars - even the beach is not too far for a day trip. An ideal holiday retreat.

We will be making our fourth visit at the beginning of July this year. The villa is set in such a picturesque location with mountains all around. The swimming pool is ideal for a refreshing swim after a day's sightseeing, or just relaxing

My husband and I spent two fantastic weeks at Villa San Raffaella in Sanarno during September 2015. From the minute we arrived we felt at home. Damien (the owner) had thoughtfully provided a bottle of wine, bread and cheese which we tucked into on our arrival. Our apartment, downstairs and near the pool, was fully equipped for cooking, with comfortable... More

We spent a lovely 10 nights in Villa Raffaello in mid-September this year. It’s a beautiful area with mountains to climb, ancient towns and villages to wander around and lots of excellent restaurants to enjoy fantastic food. Damien was a mine of information and gave us lots of tips about where to visit and things to do. He could get... More

Our recent holiday at the Villa SanRaffaello was every bit as good as we had hoped. Looking at the website sold it to me. A hammock, in a vineyard with a pile of books and a beautiful view and when we arrived we found that it is just like that and more. Booking was easy and Damien answered my questions... More

Absolutely beautiful place with a large pool and amazing views of the mountains and town of Sarnano. We loved the local area and trying different restaurants. Everyone was very friendly even though we speak very little Italian. The villa is comfortable and we had a lovely balcony where we could eat whatever the weather.

We've just returned from a perfect week in one of the most beautiful, unspoilt regions of Italy. Our apartment was spacious and very clean and the host, Damien, could my be more helpful and charming. Our two young daughters enjoyed the outdoor pool in the garden with stunning views of the enchanting town of Sarnano backdropped by the dramatic Apennine... More

Thanks Bernard for the lovely review... for the public please note that Bernard contacted me and said that he had written a review but that there is a typo and it should have read "and the host, Damien, could not be more helpful and charming" Maybe TA administrators you can rectify this error. It's true what everyone else has written - this place is just heavenly! We stayed a week in Apartment Grazia, which has the most stunning views from the kitchen and bedroom windows over the mountains and the town. The flat has everything you need, and the living room had quiet views over the woods behind - we saw deer in... More

A lovely, spacious apartment within a charming characterful building; stunning views from the pool; lovely gardens for alfresco dining or relaxing in the hammocks. Owners, Damien and Sharon, were always on hand for any help or advice (they were very helpful sorting out local road-bike hire for my husband) and have a wealth of knowledge about the area (they gave...
