We visited Moneglia for six days in September. Although we did not stay at the Hotel Corallo, it became a favorite restaurant/bar of ours. The bar had a great selection and the staff was very friendly despite the fact that I am Italian language challenged! Over the course of several days, I had their pasta Bolognese, pizza, fresh fried anchovies,...

Moneglia was a beautiful place. Not touristy at all. The hotel was Italy, charming and quaint. I believe it was a family owned establishment. Nice breakfast every morning. This location is just one train stop outside the Cinque Terre. Worth the extra train stop to enjoy some romantic time near the water without a huge number of tourists. Good pricing.

I walked in off the street with probably few hotel options in the busy season and was pleased to find a double room for single use available for six nights at such a reasonable rate of €52 per night including breakfast and excellent wifi. Moneglia is not large...maybe 700 metres from one end of the old town to the other....

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Corallo, Moneglia in Sept, 2013 and used the train to visit the Cinque Terra. Valentio and his sister Brunella were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. This is a family owned hotel and has a clear emphasis on treating its guests like family. As Americans, we sometimes feel...

We were very happy here during our first visit in 2012. And equally happy when we returned for a week this month. Its a small family run hotel very well located near train, beach, shops and restaurants in Moneglia. Breakfast was much better than we expected for a modest hotel. We had juice, ham, cheese, yogurt, eggs, cake etc. We...

I almost hate to even talk about this place as it was the best place we stayed on our trip. Very clean, warm room with great service. Instead of staying in the Cinqua Terra our agent talked us into staying in Moneglia. We were glad we took his advice, even if his family was from there. After walking the touristy...
