this is the cursed room. we stayed here for four nights, and every single night there was a new issue!!! the floor was mouldy, the shower flooded (literally flooded, it went into our bedroom), the ceiling started spurting water and the lights started dripping. NOT ONLY THIS! my friend was on the top of a dreadfully designed bunkbed: the sides were not safe, the ladder wasn’t attached, and every single movement mad the bed creak uncomfortably. it got so bad that she had to put her mattress on the floor. our fan leaked mouldy red water, and gave the entire room a sore chest and painful cough. the so called “air conditioning” doesn’t even work. i would love to say the staff were helpful but they really acted as if they couldn’t care less. the flooding shower wasn’t fixed but rather it was just mopped up, we were told a maintenance man would fix the dripping lights + ceiling within 20 minutes - then we were told nothing could actually be done! on the last night, we were offered a change of rooms. we were offered a 3 bed room, for 4 people. this was in the last 10 hours of being there, couldn’t something have been done sooner!!!! the location is lovely however and certain aspects were genuinely alright. the breakfasts were nice, and our food on the last night was a step in the right direction. with more care for detail etc, this hotel has the potential to be very nice.…
Really awful, Saturday night… three tables! The service and food embarrassing… the only positive is the bread that was nice cheesy focaccia but all the dishes are either raw or tasteless! Tried to tell the waitress as she took our untouched plates away but she was not at all interested! Paid and left very quickly… SHOCKING!! Don’t bother trying, the place is awful.
Rooms with beds made of literal concrete, staff that are as helpful as a glass hammer, and food that would make Satan weep. I’m so thankful for the pizza shop next door, or I would have starved, as the La Ripetta food tastes like something a dog would turn it’s nose up at. The cleaning staff actually stole €20 from my friend, and rarely actually do any cleaning. If this isn’t a human experiment testing the limits of human frustration and agony then I don’t quite understand what La Ripetta is - because it’s certainly not a hotel. I wouldn’t wish this place amongst anyone. Hell on Earth.
I stayed here with a school party of 60. All staff and students have been very happy with the hotel, so a lot of the other reviews by school parties have no foundation. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bunk beds are stable! Waiting staff are extremely friendly and very helpful with a number of dietary requirements. Food is excellent. Buffet breakfast has a wide range of lovely pastries. Great views from the rooms and terrace. I’d recommend this place to anyone.
The hotel in all honesty doesn’t even deserve this rating as it has been beyond the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The food was awful with no choice of what I wanted but just got given it. The rooms were small and cramped with very unstable bunk bed which made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable. The staff were unfriendly and seen their visitors as more of a chore than people they needed to impress with disgusting attitudes. With limited choice to what you can eat breakfast becomes difficult with only the choice of stale cereals and pastries and when going out during the day and walking a lot you burn off calories that you hadn’t eaten in the first place. NOT disability friendly with my friend not being able to fit in the lift although already promised they had done before we arrived and there was steps all over the hotel even to get down to the lift. Definitely would not recommend this horrendous hotel. …
Air con didnt work, staff were rude and ignorant, food was uncooked, breakfast was paltry, it advertises a gym which had 1 weight, the pool water was green and full of algae. Bunk beds were unsafe. The ladder broke when we tried to get up to it. The shower head didnt work. There was sheets instead of blankets. My friend got sick after having the meat. The vending machine was empty and didn't get restocked
The hotel room was so disgusting it was out of date and absolutely awful. we stayed for a couple of nights and even that was enough for me. The room had a good view but that was about it, disgusting🤮🤮
Came here 3 times and each time the food and service were excellent. I especially enjoyed the pasta dish with lemon and clams. The owner was very accomodating when we explained we had a sick person in our group, and made food for us to take back to her.
lovely family run hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. Seaview rooms have a beautyful panorama to the Napoletan Golf. The dishes are very tasteful and you can enjoy the sunsets from the panorama restaurant's terrace. Strongly reccomanded who likes the nature and the feeling of beautyful evenings!
I went on this holiday hoping for a great time and with all the days and time out of the hotel being one of the best experiences of my life, the hotel ruined it. The water at dinner was horrible and the food was very basic and barely edible. The rooms were basic with the shutters broken and the shower very old and rusty. The bunk beds were fairly unstable and I found hair in the bed . The breakfast had small variety but with what there was, there wasn’t anything really to enjoy. Thankfully we ate out for lunch everyday but overall I had a negative stay. The hotel staff weren’t very welcoming and seemed as if they didn’t want to be there. The WiFi didn’t work and when the password was typed in it still didn’t work. I spent around 20-30 euros on drink as the water wasn’t provided or was at a bad standard. The spa isn’t available if you are going mas a school however the food for teachers was a decent to good standard but for students a boring bland selection of food- pretend you don’t eat pork or meat and you will probably be given nice food. Overall I loved my time in Italy apart from the hotel- the let down of my trip…
