Although only a few minutes walk (uphill!) from the port , Lila met us in the car from the ferry to help with our luggage. The guesthouse is absolutely charming in a renovated 19thC house. It has a laid-back authentic Greek feel to it (quite hard to find sometimes) and everything is very comfortable, clean and spacious. Lila and Dimitri were wonderful hosts. We hope to return!

Lila has built an excellent place for you to stay while visiting Syros. Its a very old building that she renovated and looks great. She is super friendly, picked us up from ferry, and with an early check in. Great fast internet, Netflix on tv, delicious breakfast and ideal location.

Quiet little guesthouse in a beautifully renovated old home a quick walk from the center of town and down to the quay. I loved the high ceilings and shuttered windows. Lila is so kind and friendly. We were greeted with wine and immediately sat down to chat in their living room/lobby. Every morning before we left, Lila and her husband served a delicious breakfast. It was such a pleasant experience. It made our stay in Syros all the more enjoyable. I would love to return and stay for a week as Lila said many people came to stay and work during the pandemic (wifi works well). I would love to do the same.

Lila’s guesthouse, is centrally located & is the perfect base to explore ermoupolis. Built in the 19th century & Once the old French consulate, the guest house has been lovingly restored to make a home from home, while still keeping its authenticity. Lila is an absolutely perfect host & is always trying her hardest to make your stay on the magical island of Syros carefree & an absolute pleasure. There is a fresh & varied help yourself Breakfast available as part of your stay & six great rooms of different sizes to cater for solos, couples, families & group bookings. The only downside here is it’s popularity. Definitely book early as many guests visit every year & it can be fully booked at times. 5 stars in every way, highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant stay at Lila's guesthouse. Lila is so nice and makes you feel at home. The room was comfortable and had all basic amenities including a kitchenette. Everything was simple but in good taste, including the design, decoration and breakfast. We couldn't get this value from a conventional hotel no matter how much we'd pay...

It is a very good choice if you prefer to live in a local house - like room rather than in a proper hotel. It is an old traditional building with different rooms which have different entrance. For example to visit the lobby you need to leave your room and re-enter the building with a different key. My room was nice and spacious but a little bit dark since it is located in the narrow streets of the town. The owners were very helpful. The breakfast simple but good. If you have a car, the parking might be a problem due to the central location. However you can go anywhere in the town on foot.

Mrs. LIla is an amazing host, doing everything for her guests, what ever they need. You feel with her that you are visiting your family on Syros. The rooms are very nice and extremely clean in the heart of Syros, walking distance to every where as well as to the Port of Syros. The breakfast is like home made for you. All honestly you really feel like you are visiting your relatives at Lila’s guesthouse. We very highly recommend Lila’s guesthouse to everyone and we are sure that you will love the owners, the accommodations, very convenient and great location. We would like to thank you very much Mrs Lila for your great hospitality and for everything what ever you did for us, we appreciate everything a lot and when ever we will visit Syros again we will always stay with you. Despite the bustling city of Ermoupolis Lila Guesthouse is a quiet place to stay. The proximity of the church Our Lady of Assumption allowed us to see the precious icon of El Greco and the church itself and we could take long walks through the city of Ermoupolis without risking to get tired. The owner Lila does her best to fulfill every guest's wishes and we found in her a very warm and friendly character with a huge heart for us. She has a lot of taste for decoration, we sensed that from the first moment we set our foot in her guesthouse.

Lila Guesthouse was such an amazing place to stay in Ermoupoli. Perfect location - easy walking distance to everything. Loved the character of this guesthouse which is in the old French Consulate building. We stayed in the room with the 2nd bedroom loft. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony was superb. Lila collected us and dropped us back to the port for our ferries and she was very friendly and made our stay pleasant.
