I have visited hotel vergas for many years now and met lots of people of all nationalities from a swiss guy who I accompanied with a rendition of Rossinis william tell overture at the hotels stunning captain hooks bar to a group of italian ladies who took great relish at helping themselves to my food whilst I was distracted, and lots of visitors from all parts of Britain all of whom seem to agree that Aris, steff, mario, manos and many other local visitors combine to make this place a must stay!Being only a short stoll from the malia strip this place is ideal for youngsters, not just oldies like me .there is a good mix of ages, combining to make a great holiday atmosphere. The hotel is spotless and the varied menu is outstanding, courtesy of steff and her staff.aris runs his bar area with typical cretan hospitality.looking forward to seeing them all again soon.…
Hotel very very basic with rules on cards everywhere. Notes with do and donts seem to paper the wall. Gave the place a chance. The manager is awful if you are British.he hates the British he said. He is aggressive rude and intimidating. His wife tries to make up for his rude behaviour but he nothing makes up for his ways. He lies and says company not paid him when they have since months and became very abusive when you make any comment or don't eat in his place. No wonder the pool was empty. You even have to pay for your toilet roll 😅Everywhere full in August except here which is pity as fab location. Heard so many horror stories from others
We went to malia in sept, stayed in this hotel for one night and the other 10 nights in a hotel next door as it was all inclusive BUT we should of stayed at vergas hotel. The rooms at vergas was small and basic but very clean. The pool and pool bar is fantastic, the onwers arris and steph were great. We stayed around the pool every day and went there on the evenings for drinks. And food is great to, steph is a great cook :) Thanks for a great hols arris and steph. Would defo recommend this hotel.
Me and my husband stayed in Vergas for a week and it was really great!!! The owners Stefi and Aris are so helpful and nice people, it was plesure to meet them. Also other members of staff such as Marios, the barman, were nice. Stefi is a great cook, I really recomend anything from the menu, especially Chicken pasta Alfredo :-P. The accommodation was nice and clean, exactly how you expect it in 2star hotel :-). The view from the balcony was also perfect, we could see the pool and the sea in the back. I highly recomend Vergas to anyone who wants to enjoy beautiful holidays!!! Thank you Stefi, Aris and Marios :-)
Bar staff are rude and disrespectful once they found we weren’t ordering food chin strap looking nonce told us to leave even though it says bar and the George clooney looking nonce told us that he wanted to slap us and said we weren’t human (who knows what that means) absolutely w**k wouldn’t go. P.s hope it closes down
