When we arrived, we were very desperate because the hotel didn't look like we had imagined it and like the photos :)
- Plastic armchairs - sticky and dirty
- Very soft mattress.
- Old furniture.
- The bathroom wasn't dirty, but they could invest a little. (The joints were black. While you were showering, the foam came back over the drain)
- Air conditioning was available for an additional charge.

- The garbage was emptied every day, every 3rd day you get new towels and clean bed linen.

- The pool bar - well... raki and beer from plastic cups... (everything is drunk from plastic cups) You can forget about cocktails or anything like that. There's nothing.

The wine tastes like table wine.

- Internet access was available throughout the hotel, except in the room. :(
- The hotel is very central, so everything is very close. (Shopping, pharmacy, bars, restaurants....)
- You certainly won't be able to sleep until midnight, it's very loud and the other guests feel alone in the hotel, they shout and some slam the door as if there was no buckle... boom boom all night....
Thank God my daughter was always so tired that she didn't hear anything.

Unfortunately there is no private beach (Aeolos Beach: about 6-7 minutes on foot.)

- The food was very good, something new every day, healthy and fresh. They kept refilling and despite the small dining room there was always enough space.
One day, at breakfast, the butter unfortunately broke, stank - they must have left it outside.

The staff was great, nice, friendly and helpful.

We booked all-inclusive but half board would have been enough. We didn't have lunch and we had drinks somewhere else... from nice glasses :)

The price-performance ratio was okay, but next year we will dig deeper into our wallets and go back to Crete but look for a better hotel for our expectations.

We have stayed there a week in July2022 on an All inclusive board. We arrived late at night but the staff was very welcoming and gave us a very nice room which was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The receptionists (AM & PM) were always happy to help and gave us very good advice on tourist attractions. The food is wholesome and always fresh, we would have like coffee and tea throughout the day (this is our only criticism). Overall, we had a very good week.

We stayed for a week in this nice simple hotel and it's left us with very good memories. The location is good- a very clean beachnearby, not far from the city center, a lot of bars and restaurants nearby, a supermarked for water or snacs just a few steps away, everything is in easy walking distance. The only thing (for us) that was a small inconvenience - rooms have only single beds, no doubles.

We didn’t book to stay here. We dropped off at our hotel the triton garden to be told we’re at the wrong place(we weren’t) a staff member to us to this place who told us our holiday had been changed to due to closure (no one told us or on the beach) it is a total dump. Air con is 6e per night per room, the bar closes at 10 pm. No spirits available on all inclusive only beer, wine and watered down cheap cola and orange. No ice cream at all, nothing for children. You can only have coffee during a certain time 4-6 or breakfast. And it’s served in flimsy plastic see through cups like what you would drink cold drinks in. Pool is a small rectangle nothing special. No park or anything for kids to do. The rooms are dirty and mouldy. We asked for our money back for the room so we can move and told no. We would never ever have booked this dump. Just read the reviews it should be completely cleaned and decorated or bulldozed. The tv in the room is a 80s/90s portable not LED like in our original booking.

Dear Sami 324, we feel sorry that you did not like our hotel but we have from our side to reply to your comments. it is true that you have booked Triton Garden hotel but it is not our fault that you were not informed! Since June all the local agents have been informed for this change! Triton Hotel and Triton Garden Hotel belong to the same company so the services and the AI programm are exactly the same.We think is not right to complain for something you have not pay.. In both hotels description is very well written what AI includes so an advice please read before book. the desciprion on the site ON the beach: Food & Drink 10am-10pm from the pool bar, soft drinks, red and white wine, draught beer, local, ouzo and raki, Coffee, tea and cookies 3pm to 5pm. does not say ice cream during the day or coffee all the day. your comment for plastic cups, due to Covid 19 we have to use them in order to minimize the risk of using and touching glasses. It is in the protocols we have to follow against Covid-19. it is a 3* basic bubget hotel near the beach and the city with friendly staff nice food and clean rooms sure we are not ideal for guests with great expectations but for those who want to book a hotel with family atmospaere in a good location! thank you!

I spent a week in Triton Hotel in September 2019 and would never go back! I understand it's a budget hotel but even cheaper hotels can have some standards. The most disturbing thing was the dirt. The worst was the bathroom which had mold on the walls and just didn't encourage one to even take a shower. Food in the all inclusive package was edible but repetitious and by the end of the week we had enough and started eating out and were so happy about it because there are some lovely restaurants in Malia!

I would like to recommend stay in Triton Hotel in Malia, Crete. We stayed there two weeks: me, my husband and our preschool girl, and we really enjoyed it! It was much more than a stay in a nice hotel in a nice country. The interiors of the hotel are elegant, clean, by the reception you can relax and enjoy seaside atmosphere occompanied by nice pictures. Our room had a useful balcony, comfortable beds, wardrobe, night tables, dressing table with a large mirror, chairs, all you need (and also a fridge and safe-depozit, air conditioning, TV...). Our room was cleaned every day, there were new nice smelling towels, the beds were made and clean, bathroom cleaned every day, the rubbish was taken out. The lady was wery kind. In the restaurant here was delicious food both Greeek and international cuisine, a great choice of meat (fish both for lunch and dinner!, seafood, chicken, pork, lamb...), all side dishes, vegetable side dishes, fresh vegatables, cheese, fruit: watermelon, orange so refreshing!, desserts, variety od refresher to drink, wine and beer, water, and 6 kind of ice cream. The hotel is situated in the ideal place in Malia, in nice surronudings of the mountains, close to the large beach with sand, and the hotel has two big swimming pools - one of them is 40cm deep - ideal for children to play, there are tavernas, shops, bars close to the hotel but you are never disturbed by any loud discos when you want to have a rest at the hotel. The gardens are also nice: you can smell lemon trees, look at flowers in bloom and pictures of Cretan sights and natural beauties. But what is the most: the staff treat each other and you like a member of their family. They really take care of you, ask you kindly if you are satisfield and if they can help you with anything. We were very usefully discussing our plans for trips, car rent, anything, and they hepled us a lot. Malia is an ideal location to start your Crete trips! Always smiling, always welcoming and friendly. It was absolutely perfect holiday we wish to make againg in the future. So many thanks!!! Love.

We arrived at the Triton very early hours of a Sunday morning due to a mix up with our holiday company. The hotel hadn’t even officially opened for the season. Even at that time of the morning, we were welcomed & sorted with a room within minutes. Room was immaculate. Great mountain view & balcony. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. We stayed for 2 weeks. The room was cleaned most days, fresh bedding & towels every couple of days. There is air con with a daily charge, also a safety deposit box.

The staff are fantastic (especially Yanna on reception) & cannot do enough for you. Anything you need to know, ask & they will accommodate as much as they can! It’s in a great location, walking distance to the beach, the main strip, old Malia & nightlife.

The first week the meals were fab - we were all inclusive - we did notice that as the hotel got more occupied, the food quality slid slightly. Pool bar is open for beer, wine & soft drink all day. Also being in the midst of the Covid pandemic, the hotel has great policies in place for masks in dining room & gloves when self serving food.

All in all, a brilliant time had - we’ll definitely be back to stay at the Triton!!

Hotel in typical Greek style, simple and at the same time comfortable and complete with all comforts, far from the type of "anonymous" hotels, this in fact made me feel immediately "at home". The staff is very kind and always available to meet you, my room was just great, with an airy balcony where you can relax or have a coffee in the afternoon. The kitchen, buffet style, is very varied and cooked to perfection. Special thanks to Iana and Ria from reception, always smiling and available for every request.

Budget hotel but... dated, poorly maintained rooms, almost non-existent cleaning, air conditioning for a fee, bubble bath available only for two days max stay, (then you have to buy it) windows without mosquito nets, the hotel and 'surrounded by thousands of cicadas that add to the music of nightclubs until 5 am, make rest difficult. The food alternated, sometimes eatable other times really bad. Non-existent fruit, I can't understand why. In a week all inclusive was never served. The only thing you save is the pool with its bar and the fact that you can reach the beach a few minutes walk.
