Made a mistake when I originally booked thinking that the hotel was closer to the main strip in Stalis than it actually was, totally my fault. Taxi pulled up and we got to check in to be met by Manos the owner, paid the local tourist tax and paid for air con and made our way to room 56 which was right at the back of the property near the pool.
The room was basic but clean and had pretty much all we needed for our 2 weeks stay. The air con unit was situated in the bedroom which was ok but not much use for any other part of the apartment but as we didn't spend much time in it ,it wasn't a problem for us. The shower was a pit pokey but there was plenty of hot water all the time. Cleaned and towels and bedding changed every 2 days.
On the whole a very enjoyable stay, very quiet even with the main road right at the back. The rooms are set in very well kept gardens and only 2 storey so not many steps. The pool area was kept in good order by Nikos the barman, snacks and drinks available at reasonable prices. The restaurant on the front of the property was large and always very busy at night times, we ate there once and were a little disappointed so just stuck to breakfasts in the morning, we must have just been unlucky that day as the place was always busy ?
All in all we had a lovely stay even though we usually stay a little closer to the strip, we found a few good places which we wouldn't have known about otherwise and it was only a 15 minute walk to the strip.
We would definitely have no problems staying here again, a big thank you to Manos and his staff.

Had an amazing couple of days at Sergiani! We stayed in one of the apartments, which was very spacious (maybe expect the shower) and clean. We booked half board and were very happy with this the decision! The breakfast had everything we needed (coffee, bread, eggs, fresh veggies and some Greek delicacies). The highlight definitely was the dinner, with several starters and main dishes to choose from. Everything was freshly prepared and insanely delicious! The staff is extremely friendly - starting with Manolis at the reception (and everywhere else ;)), Nikos at the pool bar, and several waiters in the restaurant. Everyone was making us feel really welcome in a very familial atmosphere.
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a calm place to stay whilst getting an exceptional value for money.

We have just returned from Sergiani Garden Hotel & Apartment and we had stayed there for a week. Manos and his family, who own and run the place, are a credit to the island. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic but have everything that you need and are SPOTLESSLY clean. The pool area is a very good size and serves excellent beer and food (Nikos did all this on hos own every day with a big smile on his face). They do a BBQ on a Sunday by the pool which only costs 7.50 euros PP and was excellent)
The restaurant is by far the main attraction for this hotel because the food is amazing!! whether is is breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will find the food excellent. We ate in other restaurants to see the comparison but none were in the same league as the Sergiani.
The location of the hotel is in a great place, nice and peaceful but if you wanted to go to a more livelier place for a night out then Malia is 30 minute walk away.
All in all a great place to go, this was our first time there but we will effeminately go back next year.
Well done Manos & family.

We first stayed here in 2018 and returned in August 2020. We were in studio number 35 this time, on the top floor of the main restaurant building. Only recommendation I would make is that for anyone with walking problems then quote to them that you would need to stay on the ground floor. 4 flights of stairs doesn't sound too much, but in the middle of a heatwave it felt like 104 flights! Really nice room, only small issue was that the shower had a material shower curtain and so that would get stuck to you! But having stayed in Greece many times this is kind of the norm. Staff were very friendly and helpful again. Although with restrictions in place it was nice to see their rooms were pretty much booked up and the restaurant was also quite busy most nights. Great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere away from the bustle of the main strip and bars.

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children stayed at the Sergiani apartments for 14 night in July/August 2024.

We stayed in one of the new apartments near the swimming pool which was very tidy and clean. Nice bathroom and the air conditioning was very good. We slept so well on this holiday. The curtains completely blocked out any early morning sun. We were working remotely and the Wi-Fi was excellent. This was of great relief to us and of course the kids could make use of this. The balcony was lovely and we spent many evenings there playing cards and eating together whilst watching the sunset.

We visited the pool most days and Nikos who ran the bar was a funny and friendly character and definitely did a good job of looking after his guests.

The grounds of the apartments are beautifully kept.

The restaurant is very popular with people even queuing at times during the more busy evening period. The prices are fair and the quality of food very good. We also had a very decent English breakfast one morning.

The owner of the hotel is called Manos who we found to be friendly, calm and professional. Manos is running a great business and has many happy customers.

We will visit again! We really loved it at the Sergiani. Stalida has some other lovely places to eat, a good sandy beach and that classic Greek holiday vibe.

***Tips***
The supermarkets can be expensive for certain items. If you can bring it with you, especially toiletries, sun cream etc, do so.

Try and visit Mochos which is a beautiful village a few miles up in the hills. The ‘Happy Train’ goes there 3 times a week.

The village of Sissi is another beautiful village, a bit more lively than Mochos but picturesque and calm. This is just a few km up the road.

There is a bus stop if you walk out the back gate where the swimming pool is that goes to some of the other towns. Taxis can be a bit pricey!

Finally, Enjoy! YAMAS!

Stayed here with my husband and 2 children, we had a 1 bedroom apartment, it was very spacious, 2 single beds in the first room you walk into with a kitchenette, dining table with 2 chairs. Then into the bedroom with 2 single beds made up as a double, shower room clean - not very modern but clean which is all that is important. Towels and bedding changed every couple of days and bins changed every day, cleaner was lovely and friendly and the few occasions we saw her in passing. 4 bottles of water waiting in the fridge when we arrived. We had a downstairs apartment with patio area with 4 chairs and table.

Pool area clean with bar area and kitchen for bar snacks. Nikos who served in the pool bar made us very welcome and couldn’t be any more helpful, food very good very attentive.

Food at the restaurant also very good. Fabulous family holiday, We will be returning 🇬🇷

After eating at the Restaurant a couple of times last year we decided to stay there this year and we weren’t disappointed. We decided to stay half board. The breakfast was varied with cereals breads and cooked. My daughter is gluten free and on our arrival gluten free bread was available. Evening meals were very varied and plentiful.
The accommodation was clean updated.
We enjoy the pool and plenty of beds available. The pool was never full. The pool bar was lovely. Really enjoyed the milkshakes.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful and even when our flight was delayed we were greeted at 2am and was shown our room. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

We cannot recommend this complex more highly. The food is varied and authentic bursting with Greek flavours and cooked and served by dedicated staff. The service is second to none and all guests become part of Monolis’s family for the duration of their stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Nico’s bar, well that’s we call is where you are always guaranteed a cheeky monkey smile and a laugh. Nicos you always make our holiday complete. So next year make Crete and Sergiani’s your home we have met so many people who are repeat customers. We have been going since 2016. Simon, Melissa, Adam , Lewis and Kay 😎🍻

About the beach
Answer from AdamJMFraser

The beach is classic, fine yellow sand. Some days the sea was calm and at other times quite rough. There are restaurants you can retreat back into the length of the beach for food and drinks who hire out the sunbeds. There is a water sports hire business that hire out jet skis etc. It’s a lovely beach, not massively long, but clean and tidy.

Does the beach have sun beds
Answer from singhasam

Yes, the main Stalis beach does have sunbeds. A cheaper way is to find a beachside bar or eatery with sunbeds. You then get the sunbeds for nothing provided you buy your drinks and food from them.
