I go to the Kristali every year. They are very friendly as they are a family business Every time l go l find they can't do enough for you. With the corona virus hopefully l will be able to go at the end of September and meet friends and family once more. Its like returning to see my Crete family. I recommend this to especially the older generation as its at the quiet end of Malia where l stay

I will start with the only negative. You need to pay extra for the air con remote and safe key 70 euros for the week. Everything else top drawer. All the staff are friendly the rooms are a decent size. Very clean, food is good, shower exceptional. Pools are a decent size and the sun stays in the pool area all day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and despite the hill from town to apartment which seemed to get steeper everyday nah the raki made it missions 😏 it's set in the old town which had some lovely family run restaurants set just off the roads where we got lost the first 2 days but found these little gems. Overall you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay at kristalli.

Very friendly family run, immaculate complex in a perfect location for a quiet holiday that's still within walking distance to beach, the strip and perfect for walking around Malia old town to check out the Tavernas. I travelled alone and felt 100% safe in Malia and warmly welcomed at this hotel by Katrina and Mike, who escorted me to my room late at night. All of the staff are hardworking, helpful and cheerful. Mischievous George engaging with all guests and Komisa and Pro (Cocktail king) delivering service with a smile, all want their guests to have a nice time. Thank you to all of the Kristalli team for a very pleasant holiday. Thankyou for the free wine on arrival and their homemade marmalade as a leaving gift on checkout, I will stay here again after a most pleasant stay :) xx

A lovely place to stay not far from The Old Town. Beautiful views of the mountains. The people who run Kristalli are simply the best. The food and drinks are wonderful. The swimming pool and garden area are awesome. I shall return in May 2020.

Positive. Stayed at Kristalli apartments hotel. Had a fantastic holiday with my family. Room was clean, fresh sheets and towels throughout the week. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Children enjoyed the swimming pool and pool table hugely. Would always find a sun-bed free with added bonus of cushions for comfort. Good selection of tasty food at the bar and freshly made cocktails. I couldn't fault it...until the very last day of our stay!! Negative. My teenage daughter had a 'monthly' accident in her bed causing some marks to the sheets which she was mortified about. I was marched away from the pool area by the head cleaner, told I had to pay for these sheets, or I could go to the local laundrette and try washing them myself!! I am a paying guest, I'm not responsible for that! I felt sick to my stomach for the remaining last day and was feeling quite upset that there was no understanding or sympathy for a complete accident, which I was trying to be discreet about to prevent my daughter from getting upset. When I tried to approach the manager later on in the day, I was completely brushed off and ignored. I could see by that point maybe they were aware how upset I was. Sad to say, I left with a very sour taste from these unfortunate events and feel rather disappointed with the hotel's approach. Never have I experienced this before at any hotel regarding an ACCIDENT!!
