Very nice and friendly service. An intimate, quiet hotel. No iron in the room. There are plenty of sun loungers, as long as Poles don't arrive with towels at the crack of dawn, everyone will find a place for themselves. Good hotel location. Breakfasts are very similar every day, lunches are varied. Food overall very good. Daily room cleaning - do not leave small items such as lenses lying around, as they will be considered garbage and cleaned up.

The location of the hotel is in a good part of the city, practically in the center. Bars are nearby, a shopping center is nearby and buses stop nearby. The road to the sea is quite straight, about 900 m. The service left a double impression, some are unpleasant and keep pointing to some internal rules that this is not allowed, that is not allowed, while the other is pleasant to communicate with. The rooms are small, small enough to store furniture, clothes and things. But they are well managed and maintained. You won't get water or anything else, you have to buy everything. The beds are hard, the metal is covered with plastic, there are no mattresses or padding, and you have to bring your own towels or daily ones from the room. The pool is suitable for swimming, too small for swimming. The territory is compact, well maintained and tidy. There's nothing wrong with the food :( it lacks taste, just like diet light food. Daily choice of fish and meat, and potatoes/rice/pasta. A lot of vegetables, just chopped, practically without spices, although you can add soy or oil or vinegar. Our attention it was clean and tidy - that's all good. We were disappointed with the food, drinks too. The bar has nothing, it's the wrong time, it's something else. Brandy (local) ran out on the first day, beer after a few days. I didn't like that they lied - it will be tomorrow , there is no tomorrow, etc.

Very good standard of rooms considering the price, pool is quiet and peaceful (we came in September) and the family who run the hotel are more than accommodating, recommending various places around Malia and the reachable area of the island (via quad bike). The youngest member of the family, Jon, who worked the bar most nights was particularly helpful - giving us the best places to eat and drink depending on what type of dynamic we were after. Very very accommodating. Small and personal so great for getting away from the noise of the strip while still being a short walk away. Would particularly recommend for couples who want the party aspect while still being able to have calm days and nights when desired… we had an excellent stay.

A lovely family run hotel that were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Food was home made offering traditional dishes freshly cooked, rooms where very clean and the pool was also kept well and the sunbeds were washed down regularly, it’s on the outskirts of the old town with lots of tavernas within walking distance. I would definitely use this little gem again

A small, modest hotel for undemanding guests... the food was monotonous, at the end of my stay I didn't know what to choose. Only basic alcoholic beverages, breakfast, lunch and dinner, no snacks. No attractions, bar probably until 11 p.m. The swimming pool was small, when 10 people entered it was already crowded.
Advantages: Great location, 10 minutes to the center, clean and tidy rooms.
Overall I would not choose this hotel again. There were a lot of Germans, but there were also Poles! :)

A week in this charming little family hotel, and what an experience! A perfect week, the hotel is ideally located, the staff is very friendly, the rooms and the entire hotel complex are clean. Concerning the all inclusive, it is not overflowing with choice, but we ate very well in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening. The surroundings as well as the swimming pool itself are pleasant, calm and well laid out. We leave with wonderful memories, and we promise we will come back. To all the staff at Creta Verano a big thank you.

Nice family hotel in the heart of Mallia and restaurants, quiet and cozy, well appointed. we feel good there.
We spent a week there at the end of May where we were able to appreciate the calm, a terrace. The rooms are correct, the bedding comfortable.
the pool is not very big and shallow..
The staff is very helpful, perfect cleaning every day, the welcome from the manager (I forgot the name Sam?) and his little family is warm,.

We loved to spend our holiday here. The staff was very kind and helpful. Especially Maria, she is lovely.
Our room was clean, comfy. The food was varied, delicious. The beach is a 15min walk away. Little stores and bars was near.
What we regretted is that the pool can be used until 7.30pm, and some drink in the bar only available between 9-11pm.

The hotel manager was probably one of the rudest people I encountered during my weeks stay at Malia. We were constantly being accused of making too much noise even though that was not the case. Very poor service and will not be returning again.

I liked this hotel. Good, comfy place. Staff is good, lovely people. You can have good conversations with them. Meals are good as well. In spite of the fact that this is a three star hotel it's all good here. Sea is nearby, approximately 20 minutes walk.
