Stunning visit with superb food. We were 14 dining here at L'Alpage. Lovely Hostess, very attentive with friendly service. Great choice of food and children made to feel very welcome. Thankyou for adding more great memories to our family holiday.

The petite lady that seems to run the place, went out of her way to help us, even carrying one of our huge bags up to our room. The bathroom was newly refurbished and modern. The bed was very good. We had the 4-course menu for dinner in the buzzing restaurant. It was delicious. Breakfast was amazing!

I have JUST returned from this hotel in Le Grand Bornand-Chinaillon and the first thing I wanted to do was write a glowing review. This hotel is the most perfect place and I adored every minute. I only stayed for one night, but could happily have stayed for at least another week, I was so sad to leave! I arrived... More

Beautiful restaurant. Food was great. Veal with blue cheese sauce and tartiflette were exceptional. Staff were warm , helpful and friendly. Service was prompt and efficient. Prices were fair, with the overall cost good value. Would highly recommend .

I stayed at l'Alpage for one night and I enjoyed every moment from the arrival to the departure. The hostess and the the staff were welcoming and authentic when I arrived after 9.00 p.m. Everything in the hotel simply falls into place; there are no frills, but the room was agreeable and tidy, with a picture postcard view of the... We very much enjoyed our stay in l'Alpage. It's a two-star hotel, but there is everything you need, the design is "savoyard" in a very nice way, and the owner and her staff is very helpful. No frills, but a nice balcony, playroom for the kids and lounge for the adults. The only thing to know is that there are... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Geneva. Driving through the mountains into nowhere that at some point we thought we were lost! Finally we found the hotel in the little ski village. The view is amazing and the ladies that run the place are warm and welcoming. Though it is a French territory they managed to... More

Tonight we dined at this wonderful restaurant. As a family of 5 - 2 adults, 3 adult youngsters - the friendly, hospitality extended to us was superb. With little French language between us, we were served a magnificent meal with kindness and good humour. I can only recommend this restaurant to all. Manifique !!!!

Whilst we haven't stayed at L'Alpage, we have eaten here on a few occasions, most recently this week. The hotel is small, traditional and very pretty and the staff are very welcoming. We ate here 3 out of 4 nights as the food is excellent and not expensive by area standards. I would highly recommend L'Alpage, and we have returned here... More

We did not stay in the hotel but ate twice in the restaurant. The restaurant was delightful, such a warm and inviting place. The host and hostess were dedicated to providing you a 1st class dinning experience. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced for the high quality. If we go back to Chinaillon we will try to stay... More
