Couldn't imagine a better way to relax when vacationing in the current crise sanitaire; P&V does a good job of distancing and cleaning, setting out reminders for all to follow rules, and we felt relatively confident during our stay. Could pay less - and we often look for inexpensive travel options - but with pets, Covid-19, and rushed vacation planning, this is a great compromise.

Arrived on Saturday 7th March, we were very impressed with the apartment initially very spacious with a great view of the mountains. Subsequently also impressed with spa & pool facilities - in complex spar shop, ski hire shop, restaurant, shuttle bus down into Flaine. Very helpful staff and daily bread & croissant ordering service.

Ideally located for the slopes and the free bus or free taxi for the village centre is extremely useful. The jacuzzi needs a cover to help it stay warm as it is outside. The attached restaurant is ok but not much atmosphere.

As our annual Ski retreat we decided to change it this year to a French resort. The accommodation was clean , modern and well equipped for self catering but also had all the benefits of a hotel vibe with good reception . The Spa and pool, were perfect for after ski relaxation. The restaurants locally offer good food but prices are definitely French ( 20% higher than Italian comparisons) so prepare for that. The local skiing is varied with lots of areas for Beginners as well as the more daring. The Ski pass will allow you to travel over the three main mountain areas and gives plenty of routes to keep you interested for several holidays . We plan to go back again next year.

Such a fantastic hotel and the ski in/out just made it! Everything was so easy and accessible! Firstly, our apartment was huge, with 2 separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom. All appliances in the kitchen were modern. Beds very comfy. Secondly, the spa is wonderful. We enjoyed a steam/sauna everyday after skiing and it was a lovely way to unwind. There is a spar underneath the hotel which is very convinient, but its extremely expensive and almost double the prices of the supermarkets in flaine forum. The pizzas at the hotel were great and reasonably priced, we had a few takeaways! Cocktails also delicious!! I noticed a review below regarding additional costs, and would like to clarify there were no "hidden costs" in our stay at all. The hotel offers a free ride to the ski shop up the road to collect your ski's, a free shuttle every evening to and from flaine forum (this was fantastic), wifi is free and works great, towels and robes were no charge. Couldn't fault the hotel at all. I didn't find the skiing as good as other areas in france, and there are not many places to go out in the evening, but if you're looking for a quiet family friendly resort I would highly recommend flaine.
