Arrived by boat and was recommended this restaurant by Capitainerie/Harbour Master. Turned up with my wife at 8pm reasonably dressed, told us they were short staffed and not prepared to offer a table even though the restaurant was 3/4's empty. Suspect I would have been offered a table if I had arrived in a Porsche, never mind gave my 100... More

Cher Monsieur, Dear Sir We have you kindly explain that our tables were reserved, indeed we take reservation until 9.00 pm. I am sorry to tell you that but your opinion is arrogant not our service! Regards Les Ormes More

We only had the one night at this hotel as we were travelling further into France, but we found the hotel and its staff to be all excellent and will certainly be looking to stay here again when we are next in the area.

My stay has been fantastic and very easy going. This hotel has a unique charm and service is very friendly. Very nicely located in front of the harbour and at walking distance from other restaurants and beach.

The food here was of a really high standard, very fresh, really good quality. Everything we ate was exceptional- mains of beef, duck and pollock, creme brulee and panna cotta for dessert, ham and foie gras for starters. The staff were lovely, service was good. The place was really nice and they allowed the dog in. We thoroughly enjoyed eating... More

We stayed here on our way back to Cherbourg. It is, effectively, a restaurant with rooms. The room, in the loft was ok, clean and tidy, but with only a velux for light it did feel like a loft conversion. The food was very, very good though. I had the lamb and one of the best apple tarts I have... More

This was our 3rd visit to this delightful hotel but it will be our last. The rooms overlooking the small marina or the pretty garden are comfortable and nicely decorated and dinner was very good, but for a 14 euro breakfast we did not expect to find coffee in a vacuum jug, cheap supermarket croissants, butter etc and a "fruit... Located slightly outside the main village and opposite the marina, this is a very pretty hotel. The garden at the rear is lovely. The rooms are comfortable, although the one we had was a little tight on space. We found the restaurant was a weak point. Breakfast is expensive. And limited. Shortly after 9.00 am we asked for an omelette... More

We were a hiking group and the accommodations were what I love: small and unique. Breakfast and dinner was great, as was the service. The grounds were gorgeous and the ambience was exceptional. Enjoyed it.

Great place at the seaside. We had a quiet, very comfortable room overlooking their beautiful garden. Their restaurant was exceptional. One our very best meals in Normandy. Very fresh fish, excellent wine selection, hearty breakfast. Helpful and courteous English speaking staff.

This hotel is small and intimate. The location is excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was good. A selection of eggs, bacon, cold ham and cheeses plus yogurt, fresh fruit bread and pain au chocolat. We ate in the hotel on one occasion... the lamb we had was excellent. My only reservation is on price. For example one... More
