Set in the centre of a traditional wine-making village in the unspoilt Languedoc region of the south of France, Cinq & Sept is only 25 minutes' drive from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, and 50 minutes from France's second 'gay capital' - Montpellier. Cinq & Sept offers you 9 luxurious, self-catering suites each with a complete kitchen, en-suite shower room, sitting area and dining area. The accommodation at Cinq & Sept is set within a grand 18th century 'maison bourgeoise'. Please note that Cinq & Sept is exclusively for gay guests (male & female) from the 1st May - end of October each year. Outside these we dates we welcome everybody.
It was my first time sleeping with E. Macron in the same bedroom. It is in the middle of the village. Do not expect a big site with ample parking in front. We learned too late that they offer a garage to recharge your electric car. The hosts are very kind and friendly and ensure you get everything, incl. dinner arrangements - even that night, they did not offer any hosted table. They contacted us to ensure everything was set before we arrived. The venue is nothing for mobility-reduced guests since you have many stairs to cross within the house. So the best would be to have smaller bags with you. The suites had a lot of space and were clean and modern. The ensuite kitchen is for self-catering, and you have breakfast (no breakfast room), and coffee making yourself is part of the breakfast. It was an enriched continental breakfast. We got a bottle of pre-cooled wine as a welcome gift. Unfortunately, we could not use the outdoor facilities (garden, pool, terrace, etc.) since the weather was unpleasant. It would be good to know: this is no family-friendly venue. So gay men are best at this place. For socializing with other gay men, you find some nice lounges. Also, massages are offered.…

From my arrival to departure I felt totally at ease in the wonderful surroundings that have been created by Greg, Alex and the team. I joined one of their retreats and while I had an element of trepidation at attending alone, I should not have been concerned as the friendly inclusive nature of the sessions and areas for social interaction mean the opportunities to meet other guests are plentiful - They have also considered how to cater for those wishing to take time out to relax and reflect. The accommodation is delightful and the quality of food and drink is excellent. Thank you guys for a memorable experience - I will be back!

Highly recommended; an excellent place to stay. Most importantly, the welcoming and gracious hosts, Alex and Greg, are amazing in so many ways. In creating Cinq et Sept, they have paid close attention to every detail in layout, design, decoration, furnishings, equipment, and amenities. They have exquisite taste. They have also done a great job in anticipating and preparing to meet the needs of their guests, coming alone or with a partner or by car or plane, both on site and in enjoying the lovely town of Roujan and surrounding towns. I have included photos from my stay. Finally, my fellow guests during my two weeks at Cinq et Sept were truly wonderful men. We bonded through hiking, yoga, swims, meals, and more. I now know by my personal experience why Cinq et Sept has so many repeat guests!…

The suite welcomed us , like always perfectly presented. The Cinq&Sept sept was , and is our favorite place in the Montpellier area, and we can highly recommend this beautiful little treasure for all guys who are looking for a great place to spend some days or weeks. This was my sixth visit to Cinq&Sept, and there is no doubt about my opinion. I have been there in the spring, summer, autumn and at Christmas - for weeks with and without a program or retreat under the direction of the super hosts Greg & Alex. They offer excellent service in the beautifully restored old village mansion. The rooms are immaculate with a richly equipped kitchen and very good beds. In the intimate and private back garden, they always keep the pool clean and inviting. The village of Roujan is small and doesn't have too much to offer apart from its charm and peace. It is all the more fun to explore the region, the nearby beaches and not least the exciting restaurants in the neighboring villages. All thanks to good advice and practical help from Greg and Alex.

This is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. The hosts were wonderful. They arranged lots of fun and interesting activities and made wonderful communal meals most evenings. It was easy to make new friends. I wish everyone could get a chance to go here; there’s not a thing I would change.

We really enjoyed our first time at Cinq et Sept. This resort was highly recommended by our friends who stayed here before. We’ve stayed a full 10 days in the charming Gabian-room which was well equiped for a comfortable stay. The pool and the garden are a perfect place to enjoy and relax, and to make beautyful pictures aswell. We would recommend guests to join the activities like Pizzanight, kayaking and the poolparty. It really helps you to connect with other guests in such an easy way. Alex, Greg and their staff are always around and helpfull. They even have a ‘bible’ to help you choose some of the preferred places to visit. Our dog Veran also enjoyed his stay very much. There are some good hikingtrails nearby. This region has the famous wines. Cinq et Sept has the famous Pierre! That man has a unique talent to touch your body, mind and soul. Treat yourself to a massage. All in all, Cinq et Sept is a very relaxing and charming place to stay. We’ll definitely come back. Bart & Thierry…

We were looking forward to our stay in this gay guest house in Southern France. The house is beautiful, the attention to detail in the decor is outstanding and you really feel like you enter one of this beautiful old buildings in Southern France which has been decorated as it should be. We appreciated the guest bible which we studied well before arriving and there were lots of good recommendations of restaurants in the region. We had the chapel suite which we loved as it has a very large private bathroom and a nice terrace/balcony overlooking the countryside, courtyard with the pool and bar. What we also liked was their concept of the breakfast basked which arrived in our room every morning around 8am. With the Nespresso machine, this was always a great beginning of the new day. The start of the holiday however was disappointing as we reserved their garage place for our entire stay and were told at arrival only that this is not being rented out anymore. No mentioning of this new regime prior to arrival although we had their confirmation in writing. We were told by the owner that it is safe to park in particular at two locations in the village and we took their advice and parked it at one of the declared safe spots. It had to come as it came: Our car was maliciously damaged during the third night of our stay and we were remembered the hard way why we always seek hotels which offer fenced in or private parking. We were also underwhelmed by the service provided on Sundays. There was no owners seen and no staff available at all during the entire day. The bar was not open (although they provide a bar of honour meaning you can buy bottles of wine, water, etc. in noting your consumptions on a sheet of paper). One should also note that Roujan has limited infrastructure only and that you need to get to the neighbouring villages or to Pézenas if you want to have a higher class of restaurants. Overall, we came to the conclusion that this guest house is not for us although we love the house and the rooms.…

Many thanks for your review and again I want to apologise for the oversight on my behalf that resulted in you having to park on the street. As you had booked so far in advance, I thought I had written to you to explain that we were no longer in a position to offer private secure parking. This email was not sent and hence your disappointment in having to learn this news on arrival. However, I must say that we have been open for over 14 years now, and in that time 100's of guests have parked in the village without any issue. Sadly it was what we call in english, 'Sod's Law', that in this case it happened and some mindless idiot dented your car. I know how upsetting and frustrating this is. We are so sorry that this soured what was otherwise a successful stay. To your point about Sundays - we are always on site every morning as is the team. All the rooms are serviced and breakfasts prepared and delivered. So you must have just missed us. And of course, when not on site, we are always contactable via the Guest WhatsApp group or directly.

A very nice hidden gem. In the middle of Roujan Village, this property, own and managed by a couple of nice men, is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. The suites are nice and the beds very comfortable. The garden is stunning and their hospitality is beyond warm.

I stayed as part of a gay men's mindfulness retreat and had what can best be described as a transformative time, it has literally changed my life for the better. As for the accommodation and hosts? No faults whatsoever. Friendly, welcoming, helpful, wrapped up in a beautiful, not to mention tranquil location. I would highly recommend staying here.
