Bernard and his staff welcome you when you arrive and are at your command. The property is lovely and under his direction has been lovingly restored to a magical place. You have two styles of accommodations in the Chateau building more central to meals and with the feel of old furniture silk adorned walls chandeliers and the high ceilings etc....

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a bus tour of the Loire Valley. Turning off the road onto the Chateau's drive, we wended through a lovely forested area before arriving at the Chateau proper. The accommodation is in the main building as well as a couple of refurbished outbuildings (the latter being more modern in style and...

My wife and I stayed two nights at this resort in Sept 2016. The hotel is a restored chateau with several new out-buildings holding the majority of the rooms. It is in the Loir Valley far from anything. We stayed in one of the modern out-buildings. The room was clean but very, very small. It was approximately 1000 yds from...

I thank you for your testimony that we can not appreciate it as it is vulgar and lying. The buildings that make up the estate of the Château du Breuil date from the 15th, 17th, 18th and 19th century. Only the comfort offered to you in the room is modern with in particular air conditioning and modern bathrooms. Cheverny is...

We stayed here for one night. The room was expensive, stained carpet, loud buzzing sound from a/c and the reception was very rude! Positives... Dinner was was delicious, our bathroom was lovely and the morning staff was much more friendly. Bottom line, go somewhere else.

I spent six days at Chateau Du Breuil in Cheverny as part of a prepaid cycle tour (included dinners and breakfast) based in the chateau. My room had a wet rag by the bed, half eaten cookie on the window ledge and a used razor blade in the bathroom upon arrival. The razor blade remained for my stay, the rag...

Lovely chateau hotel in a peaceful setting. Refreshing swimming pool, excellent dinner and grand bedroom overlooking the grounds. It was a very busy time for a wedding anniversary celebration so the service was a little slower than normal.

Loved our corner room on the upper floor. The bedding and décor in the room were so well done. Large updated bathroom. Views from the windows of the grounds and the pool area. Dinner and breakfast were part of our package and the meal was multiple courses that were artistically presented. Breakfast had many options that got our day started...

warm water from the tap when we wanted cold water, poor wifi, stains in the carpet inside and outside the room, beautiful place. poor isolation of the room, you could hear your neighbours even in the new building!!! You expect more for a 4 star hotel

Off-the beaten path location - the small chateau is set amidst its own woods, fields, and orchards and felt perfectly authentic to the countryside and region. There was even a stately black dog to greet us! We stayed in a family suite in the orchard outbuildings, so I can't speak to the rooms in the chateau itself, though the main...

“The cottages are excellent for location and seclusion. However, the walls are rather thin, and the rooms rather small with not much cabinet space. One misses tea/coffee making facilities given the distance from the dining room. If you need these facilities (or if you are above five feet) opt for the rooms in the main building.”
