On arrival it looked fine, but when we entered Reception and saw a dirty coffee cup with the remains of croissants in a basket on a nearby table (at lunchtime??) and the heap of paperwork behind the desk,we were a little concerned. We were taken to a room in what would appear to be an old farmhouse and I thought,... More

A quiet retreat with a warm welcome deep in the North Brittany countryside. A converted farm, redolent with the charm of a bygone age but with all the comforts of the 21st century, the spacious and well furnished rooms provide for a very comfortable stay. The friendly, helpful proprietors and the excellent restaurant helped to make this a memorable stay.... More

This is really a nice place to spend some nights. We travelled with our dog, who was warmly welcomed as well. The room was small, but really clean. Breakfast was excellent, with two kinds of bread, croissant and small cakes. Confiture was home-made. You also have the possibility to walk around the small lake who is nearby the hotel. I... More

On our trip along the north coast of Brittany we happened to find this quiet hotel on an old farm in the middle of nowhere and it was indeed a lucky find, we prolonged our stay to three nights. All nice and quiet, small but clean room and bathroom. The dinner was excellent. The breakfast was average, I want to... More

We booked a short autumn break through Brittany Ferries without too much research and were very pleasantly surprised by this welcoming and peaceful hotel. Although the staff spoke little English, we managed with our basic French which caused some amusement all round. The food was excellent and the bread we had at breakfast was brilliant. We did feel that a... More

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the owners as if they were genuinely pleased to see us. The lady who runs the place couldn't do enough to make us and our children feel at home. The room was nice and the location really quiet. The food was top notch good traditional French food that you always hope... More

We stayed here for five days in May 2011 lovely farm in a tranquil setting (well worth finding!). The staff speak very little or “no” English, but not really a problem. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable, breakfast is a bit basic but still very good (nice coffee) .The local area is rural and quiet but well worth a... More

We had read mixed reviews of this hotel but our stay there was very enjoyable. New proprietors have taken over and they have already made a difference. The bedroom was simple but comfortable with central heating that was still working on the last day of May. The setting is beautiful, very quiet and peaceful and ideally situated for exploring the... Positives first. We had a good sized room with excellent firm bed. Very quiet location. We were in an annexe which had a shared seating area just for 3 rooms, which we thought was nice. The location is great for easy travel across this part of Brittany and Brest is only 30 minutes away. Dining area was good although breakfast... More
