Very nice, probably renovated cosy hotel with attentive staff and very well equiped rooms. And they provide generous breakfasts with everything you need to eat before full day of tastings :-) It has great location to be able to reach all important places in pictoresque old town centre.

A small, traditional Austrian hotel. Run by the owner family. The rooms have been renovated recently - wonderfully appointed rooms, great, spacious, modern bathrooms. The hotel is located right underneath the little church, in the center of town. A very calm location. Good restaurant with Austrian specialties. A place to be strongly recommended. We will come back.

This hotel provides excellent food and accommodations in the heart of this world heritage site. Unlike its neighboring village, Weissenkirchen is not over run daily by buses and cruise ships. An excellent base for your biking, hiking holiday. The hotel offers. Unique and well restore and updated rooms. While there is a wide variation in room size, all are clean...

Hotel is located in several houses, so I cannot evaluate all the rooms. But the one we stayed in was new, clean, comfortable, quiet, well equipped and with mountain view. Hotel has golf carts for transfer service between main building/parking and remote buildings. On sunny days breakfast is served on open terrace.

We spent two nights at this charming, friendly little hotel, and ate dinner (and breakfast!) on the vine-covered terrace overlooking the Danube. The innkeeper was very helpful, letting us choose which room we preferred, making sure we had info on the area in English as well as German, and even sharing their recipe for the amazing Marillenknödel with me (see...

We stayed at this hotel as a stopover on our cycle trip along the Danube. It was definitely the best overnight stay of the trip. We loved the location, the food, the ambiance, and our room. We were in an annexe and what a wonderful old building this was. The welcome, and the service throughout our short stay was excellent....

We were traveling from Salzburg to Vienna, and decided we would like to spend a night in the Wachau. We stopped in Weissenkirchen, realizing it was a Saturday, beautiful weather in late October, AND the wine-harvest, so we didn't hold much hope of a room. We wound our way through the narrow streets to the Kirchenwirt. After some initial confusion...
