Great small family run hotel on the Danube in the town of Weissenkirchen. Staying 2 nights, we had room 108 facing the water which was very comfortable. Breakfasts were AMAZING with all you could want for hot and cold selections and seating also offered outside on a lovely patio. Marli was such a warm host and so helpful with our...

A great family run B&B, rooms are big and clean. There is a charming little garden terrace where you can have a cup of tea or coffee and look at the neighbouring vineyard hills. The breakfast is a homely affair. All you want from croissants, eggs, cereal and more. The location is divine right opposite the Danube walking path. You...

We loved our stay here. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and ours had a view out over the vineyards. The management were super friendly and the breakfast buffet (which could be enjoyed on a terrace in the sun) was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

This is what a family hotel should be. I had never been to the area before, let alone this hotel, but upon arriving I already felt at home. Easy to find, just off the main road, yet positioned perfectly that we heard absolutely no sounds of traffic. The room was spotless, plenty of space, and just plain comfort. The bathroom...

We have visited the Wachau Valley several times and knew exactly the type of accommodations we wanted and found in the Garni Donauhof. This small and intimate hotel is located right on the Danube in a fairy-tale town. We were graciously welcomed by the owner. It was a bonus that the hostess spoke excellent English! We were given a choice...

A delightful family owned hotel with a great location, friendly and welcoming staff, clean, fresh and sunlight filled rooms, a royal breakfast experience and the cutest little dog that stole my children's hearts. Initially, this trip to the Wachau region was supposed to be our two day romantic and wine tasting getaway without children so we booked the room for...
