We visited the Hot Springs for day trip and really enjoyed soaking the variety of pools. The hotel offered a lunch deal so we had a nice lunch there too. You need to arrange transport. We travelled from Miaoli via a taxi for a good price. Staff spoke great English and explained the whole hot spring process

Situated at the end of an attractive valley, Sunrise is a large and well equipped hot spring resort. You can pay to use the facilities even if you are not a hotel guest. It's necessary to wear a bathing costume in most of the facilities, but it's possible to rent a private room if you prefer to bathe naked. The...

We booked a package through hotel's online booking site, which by the way is in Chinese. Luckily my sis-in-law can read/write Chinese. The hotel rooms include in-room hot spring which actually is good for us because we can adjust the temperature for our young kids. We did not manage to try the outdoor hot spring bath as it was raining...

Quality of the hotspring seems good, skin feels softer and smoother right after spending time in the hotspring. The rooms are pretty big, comfortable. The room felt pretty humid from the hotspring in the bathtub, so there is a moist/mistakenly dirty feeling in the room. The room also smells of the typical scent of hotspring. Breakfast was not bad considering...

Overall this is a great hotel. Service is excellent. Big, personal tubs for private hotspring baths in the room. Clean, and decorations well-thought out. Aboriginal and Bali-style combination (aboriginal-owned). The owner is always there and introduces himself personally to the guests/shows concern for your stay (I've been 3 times and will go again). Unfortunately, the rooms are not sound-proofed, so...

Rooms are huge, clean with big flat screen TV. Beds are comfortable too. Bathroom is a hot tub with sulphur-smelling water running through for guest to enjoy hot spring in our own room. However, toilet looks abit aged. Guest can use the hot spring facilities, which is really relaxing & enjoyable. But I would recommend that the piped music be...
