Didn't have expectations after being told on a cab ride that this place is relatively "quiet and boring". But that was good enough! Log-style cabin or dorm are available (we went for the cheaper version as the latter is close to the main building and sufficiently comfortable enough). Flying cow ranch is about an hour from Hsinchu where we last... More

The air was very fresh. A good big place for strolling around and relaxing. My mom spent hours walking around and sitting at the benches provided. She loved it. My girl loves all the DIY activities. The rooms were clean and well kept. The food at the restaurant were average except for the milk steamboat. One negative part was that... More

A very nice cooling hotel , with a cup of milk as welcome drink , unique agro farm experiences not to be miss and a beautiful place to visit in Taiwan............................place to visit in month of October , can feed mountain goats and experience how to milk the cow , they serve good healthy food and some food souvenirs.

Resort is catered for families with kids. Well maintained with many DIY activities. Room was clean but not luxurious given farm stay concept. Steamboat dinner was wonderful and recommended. However breakfast was a letdown with poor selection, don't expect much if heading there.

I had included a 2-night farm stay at the Flying Cow Ranch into our family holiday itinerary, mainly for the kids, but I ended up enjoying it as much as they did! I would not describe Flying Cow Ranch as your small cozy “homestay” kind of a farm run by friendly Farmer Jones and his family. Instead, it would be... More

We were looking for activities for our children to spend time together. Flying Cow Ranch offers something for everyone - adults and children. We were at the point of our trip where we were ok taking things slow and going with the flow a bit. We booked one night, and decided to extend our stay as our children were having... More

Booked a upstairs down-stairs room that's no available for booking on their webby. Got to know of such a room type after I read some Taiwanese blog. They call it the 楼中楼 room type. U have to email them to do the booking. This room was at the cottage near the reception check-in area and didnt have to carry ur... More

Perhaps i went there at the wrong season - June is summer and it was extremely hot . You got to walk quite a distance to see the farm animals , view was pretty good but the heat took it's toll on my group which include 3 kids, we didnt last too long out there. Besides the animals ,there is... More

We stayed there for four days/three nights, and our three-year-old daughter had a great time! Most people would think the stay was too long and probably boring. For us, we were rushing through some activities even in the final hours before the check-out. We did goat-feeding, sheep-feeding, cow-milking, cow-feeding, duck parade and feeding etc. everyday. We also tried most of... More

hostel-type accommodation, try to pack light and/or request for ground floor rooms, or you might have to lug heavy luggage up the stairs. breakfast is basic but home-style (nice homey feel). must try the malt milk (love it!) all basic amenities provided in the room, heated floorboards are a nice touch for colder weather. no room service available, so pack...
