This hotel is clean and convenient access to restaurants along the boulevard in Dumaguete city. Prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and efficient. We managed to get a room on the seafront side that gives a beautiful morning view.

We visited Dumaguete this first week of July, on a recommendation of a friend we booked an overnight stay in this foul smelling hotel in the city which they said was the "best" in town. We asked for a 2 queen size bed, but the hotel was full so they gave as a queen bed and a pull out bed... More

We were in dumaguete for the afternoon. Decided to stay the night. Bethel is most always our choice for accommodations. Room is clean. Quiet and very comfortable. We had chilled ice water and a "hot pot" with coffee. Breakfast the next morning in the cafe was hot, ready and fresh. Staff are very friendly, and always willing to assist.

I must say that Bethel was a real treat to stay at. It was clean and the staff made the trip. They were extremely helpful in every way. The staff on the 5th floor went out if their way to help and accommodate our needs. The food in the restaurant was as good if not better than any of the... More

Went there after going to Siquijor, we were told to go back at two oclock, we ate at their cafe filomena, food was cheap so was the service.. Cranky server...when we returned, apparently room was not ready and told we were to wait for 20 to 30 minutes more. We were so dead tired so we sat at the chair... More

This hotel is probably one of the cleanest, sanitized hotels I have ever stayed in, because it is a converted hospital. The rooms are hospital sized, but not well thought out. e.g. In order to heat up water for the courtesy coffee, I had to move the table and the coffee pot to plug it into one of the TV... More

My husband and I had stayed in bethel twice now since we got married. We like the location which is really convenient and the staff has been friendly and polite to us the entire time but the problem was the rooms we stayed in. They are not maintained properly, ants were everywhere, the toilet seat was flaking off, mildew around the... More

Stayed w/ friends in a standard family room good for 4 pax. In addition to its nice location, the staff are very courteous, clean towels, coffee and toiletries are replenished daily. Good restaurants, public market, cathedral, bell tower and Silliman university are just walking distance. It is near the harbor which is very ideal if you want to go to... More

My friends and I have always stayed at Bethel Guest House whenever we're in Dumaguete. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient. Delicious local breakfast meals in Cafe Filomena and the wonderful view of the Rizal Boulevard are one of the reasons why we choose to stay here. Its proximity to our favorite restaurants like Kri and Sans Rival Bistro... More
