We stayed at Demani Lodge for three nights and loved it. The staff and host were lovely and even the food was good. One thing to be conscious of is that Thursday night is a big party night and people come from other lodges to party into the early morning. We were not aware and had to leave early the...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here, we arrived on a Thursday night early hours of the morning to music pumping and people dancing, we were a little concerned about what we had walked into, however the manager showed us straight to our room and said we could check in in the morning. We room was a cool...

This place was gorgeous! I had some troubles getting my credit card to work with their online system, but they were super communicative and helpful over email prior to my stay, and we worked it all out when I got there. I booked airport transportation through them, and was picked up easily at the airport and got to the lodge...

Breakfast was basic (fruit + egg + bread) you can choose a different style of egg and the bread and fruit are different every day. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is really good and not too expensive! Nice pool. We booked for 4 nights but we stayed 5...

We stayed in a tripple room for two night and it was barely okay. The mattress bed was super soft and the slats were not supporting the mattress evenly. We had our worst night during our two months in East Africa here. The manager agreed to fix the problem and we got a firm mattress, almost as hard as a...

Dear Johan We are very sorry to hear that you did not have a very pleasant stay with us and that your first night was that horrible. But this is how we can improve ourselves in order to make the stay for our next guests better! Since we dont sleep in the rooms ourselves it is difficult for us to...

As long as you view Demani as more of a nice hostel, you'll think it's fabulous. The basics were covered pretty well here, with the exception that I never had hot water (and I checked multiple times throughout the day). Good restaurant / bar area to meet others if traveling solo. Short (3 min) walk to beach. Note that at...

Dear JustsGuyinAfrica It is great to hear that it was a great place to meet others if traveling solo! We are sorry to hear that you did not have hot water in your room! There is a switch for each room with a private bathroom and the heater needs to be switched on 20-30 minutes in advance for the water...

Had a fantastic time at Demani. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool area is fantastic. Was a brilliant place to meet like-minded people and form a bit group for dinner and drinks. Would definitely go back.

I've stayed at Demani at least 10 times. The service food and atmosphere is great. Best for solo travellers, groups of friends or young couples. Its not on the beach but has a great swimming pool and is a lovely little oasis. Party on a Thursday night is my favourite in the area. Place has a cool backpacker vibe but...

Rooms are super clean and neat. The compound has a pool, bar, internet, and super chill lounge. Will definitely visit again when in Paje. The food is great with lots of taste and the drinks are super tasty. All at a good price. Workers are helpful and most speak multiple languages.
