Beautiful place. Great views. Great scenery. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and well services. Will definitely come back next year for another serving of great hospitality. Highly recommend checking this gig out.

Really nice hostel, helpful staff, great lounging areas looking out over the beach, very close to the beach, salt water showers (some heated), good food if service is a little laid back, decent menu (delicious fish stew & coconut curry), nice juices & cocktails, lovely breakfast of fruit and then fresh cooked eggs/omelette. Difficult to find at 11pm at night... More

The staff were welcoming from the start, no complaints at all on service. Kiwengwa itself, we found to be surprisingly quiet - we were confined to the lodge for our full two day stay because of this. The communal space is quirky and meets all needs, so this wasn't too much of an issue - at least for a short... More

We stayed in Baby Bush for 7 nights. It's a great place to stay. When we were totallly out of money (take enough cash with you, there is only an ATM at Stone Town) they helped us out! You have a great view when you are sitting in the cosy restaurant. At the same time this is an area with... More

The lodge entrance is past an unkept dirty area. The lodge itself when reached up many many rickety stairs is clean with a Jacuzzi and good lounging areas. The pre booked evening meal was good. Staff are pleasant and attentive. How ever the village is more scruffy than the other places we have stayed and apart from private resorts there... More

Kwingwe is suppose to be the inverse of Paje. A quiet tranquil beach with resorts and a lone budget lodge tucked amongst resorts and local homes with views of the Indian ocean. Indeed, it was a budget lodge with great views of the Indian Ocean and white powdery beaches a minutes walk from the lodge. The rooms were basic, with... More

Baby Bush lodge is a beautiful little place to stay on the Island of Zanzibar. Surrounded by resorts, it's in a prime location within a little village. And for dorm rooms in the $20 range, it's not the cheapest hostel in the world, but the cheapest in the are and well worth the location. It's located within a village where... More

I'm little bit confused on how to review this place. From one side it has good location (not in the front row, but just in 2nd row) and easy access to nearby sandbank (which is amazing). It has some amazing lodge, good for relaxing and chilling, and that has a lot of potential. Hotel personel is helpfull and there is... More

I stayed at baby bush for three days and it's like staying in a tree house which is a great way to forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax. The room we stayed in was quite high and the stairs are steep so you need to be mindful of this with luggage. The room was also... More

Travelled solo and staid here for 11 wonderful days in the Honymoon suite. The view from the private balcony is to kill for and worth the extra money ! The lodge is very basic but with an authentic down to earth feel about it. I only ate Seafood and it was very good every time! Decent Wi-Fi in the lounge... More
