We had an amazing time at the Kena Beach Hotel, staff were friendly and willing to assist with any problems, even arranging a doctor to come to us to take COVID tests to travel back to SA. Our room was fantastic, great shower water pressure and soft beds, absolute luxury. Only downside and the hotel isn’t to blame are the amount of vendors trying to selling souvenirs and excursions when you walk on the beach. It is fine when you stay at the resort however walking to swim in the sea the vendors come out in full force and it can become very annoying. Also the beach swim is subject to the tide. Low tide you can do the reef walk and see big amazing starfish, the water is super warm however you can’t swim until it high tide as there are many sea urchins. All in all we had a fanatic New Years and a loving holiday. Zanzibar is beautiful, except the trash on all the beaches. Kena Beach Hotel do promote you only leave a footprint which I wish all resorts have the same attitude as this island has so much to offer.…

Just let you take care of by Ishma and Amos and they will do their best to make you feel at home. Good food, clean rooms with perfect a/c, nice pool and the beach is a stone throw away! A perfect stay with my family and two children aged 9 and 12.

I selected Kena due to the on premise Diving services offered thru Scubafish Dive Operations. Both the Hotel and Dive services where perfect. The hotel room, and the Dive adventure where outstanding. Great service, Huge clean room, Friendly reception and Authentic Zanzibar experience. Wander the beaches and villages here. I love the area, and the diving. Mnemba Island is worth the visit to North Zanzibar and a stay at Kena Beach.

We’re group of families and Friends spent one night in this beautiful hotel. We experienced very warm welcome on arrival, the services here was so great, from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. The GM - Mr. Renju and his Team Ms Hishma were so attentive and always caring about their customers. They made us feel at home. The room was lovely, huge bed, with netted curtains that were always turned down nightly, along with the room being sprayed and well decorated with Beatiful fresh Flowers. Standard of cleaning was high.We were part of the all - inclusive offer, there was a good range of cocktails, wine, scotch, beers and food included. The food was of a high standard across all meals, all self-service/buffet. They have beautiful pool and beach, game area, Spa and much more. The pool was always clean, with spare sunbeds around. The beach is a beautiful white sandy, with sunshades, and loungers.We really had an amazing holiday here!!!! (Evening entertainment was fantastic,-very professional Musical band that will inspire you to dance). We will definitely visit this hotel again.... …

Exquisite stay. We had a wonderful stay in the hotel surrounded by the green life..the staffs are always attentive to the details and what they do..as usual each morning we meet them with a great big smile.
