While on holiday in Aluna Nungwi, we were lucky enough to meet Patrick. Here's a picture of him. He's a gardener. His work is invisible to guests, but its result exceeds all expectations. The hotel grounds are like a garden of eden. Surrounded by greenery. And how are the fences from plants that separate the space near the room from public places made? Patrick, thank you for your best work.

Hotel's Favorite
The lovely owners of Aluna have created an atmosphere that is lush, relaxed, warm and made us feel like family. The property is beautiful with lush gardens, lovely pools and pleasant dining area. Everything is clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, nice hot shower, air conditioning, roomy closet and little table and chairs on the balcony overlooking the pool and a bit of a view to the ocean. The food was delicious. Lunch and breakfast a set menu and good, but each day the choices for dinner were different and all so good we felt no need to go elsewhere, though there are other restaurants nearby. And one of the best things about this very special place is the staff - they were all friendly, charming and totally helpful. We felt sad to leave them all, the owners and manager included. Definitely recommend this place - great memories.

The service we received from the team (Especially Muba) was far beyond any imaginable expectations. Everyone was responsive, contactable, helpful and quick. Muba was there to help us through a situation we had outside of the hotel and was incredibly helpful The breakfast was delicious and so nutritious and healthy The rooms were clean and modern, we had been upgraded to a better room due to low season. Thanks to all at Aluna for making our stay so wonderful!

Aluna Nungwi is a beautiful hotel. It has a very beachy/chill vibe. The hotel has a very tropical look with a lot of beautiful plants and trees, and the reception is on sand to give it a beachy vibe. They have two pools one of which is saltwater. There isn't much to do around the hotel itself other than the Turtle Sanctuary which was an amazing experience. To reach Nungwi town, the hotel offers tuk-tuk services. The rooms are decent and clean and we were offered a free upgrade! The staff at the hotel are really sweet. Special shoutout to Mudi who would always check to see if we needed anything. The vibe at the restaurant at night is special - the music, food, and drinks were amazing. The beach is located quite some distance away from the hotel and I would not recommend walking to it as it is far off. The best part of our hotel stay was their breakfast. A lot of the food is locally grown themselves behind the hotel and they had some homemade spreads and jams that were absolutely amazing! My only regret is not asking if we could buy their homemade cocoa spread! Overall a really chill stay.

Aluna hotel is an incredible place. There was no issue with early check in, upon an arrival we have received a welcome drink. Then we were led to a room – simply decorated, however extremely comfy! In addition to the equipment of the hotel, there are 2 swimming pools, which provides the privacy and cosy atmosphere for everyone. Besides above, all people are super friendly & helpful. The food is very good – especially breakfasts – exactly what you need in the morning to make your day. Would be shame not to mention delicious afternoon cocktails by the swimming pool. I have to say Aluna has everything what you need to enjoy perfect holiday!  In case you will fall in love with Aluna Nungwi check their other location @ Paje.
