a nice stay overall with great beaches nearby. Nungwi has some of the most beautiful beaches on the island and a trip wouldn't be complete without a stop there. Also there are plenty of options for restaurants around the hotel

Yes, this place has a fantastic location - bang on the most beautifully blue beach. But you have to drive through the middle of nowhere, and some fairly dangerous roads to get there. The food here was also really nice - we only had dinner one night, but it was good! The games area is good - we spent most...

You will only hear the sea, the birds and the breeze. Friendly staff and all amenities needed for a memorable stay. The food was very good, better than average hotel food. The only problem is the distance to Stone Town/other atractions on the island. The transfer is costly...100€.

A beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Our family of four had a wonderful time here. From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were fortunate to receive a free upgrade from garden to an ocean view room. It is definitely a place to relax, enjoy the hotel and great food, and of course the beautiful...

This hotel was a dream come true. My husband and i stayed there for 3 nights and everything about it was just right. We got upgraded from the Garden view room to their Chalet sea view because it was my birthday and i cant appreciate it more. The staff was very friendly, the food was to die for, the pool was...

In our experience this hotel is almost exclusively visited by Honeymooners. The place is very nice, but extremely quiet. While most hotels in the Nungwi area are bustling, this place was quiet and a bit further away from town. The coastal area in front of it is visually magnificent, but does require good footwear to protect yourself from the very...

My husband just finished a two night stay and wish we had more time to enjoy this gorgeous hotel. Other travellers have told us that this is the best place in Nungwi. Though was our only time here, I can agree with other reviewers that the location, accommodations and service can't be beat. Kudos to the entire management and staff!

I stayed here for 2 nights and was blown away, the beach is beautiful, the food was just perfect and the staff so friendly. I would recommend RasNungwi to everyone. The room was spotless with a massive 4 poster bed and mosquito net (although I didn't see 1 mosquito the entire time) The pool is really clean and they have...

I have just returned from my 3rd stay at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel and it continues to be paradise on earth. The staff bent over backwards to give us the best service - from the reception and the pool staff, to the restaurant and bar staff and the cleaning and gardening people. The waiting staff in the restaurant and the...

What an amazing location for rest and relaxation!!! The hotel is a nice size and luckily Zanzibar is not overly commercialized. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I recommend half board if you are going due to the somewhat remote location..
