Review collected in partnership with this hotel
After a bad story with another hotel on the island which did not have air condition, we made a quick, "blind" reservation at the My Blue hotel. We spent there 4 nights. Unfortunately only 4 nights. We left this lovely place with great sadness in our hearts. We booked a standard room but at the reception we made upgrade to a deluxe ocean view room and it was a good deal and the right choice. The hotel is beautifully situated, beside the most beautiful beach on the island (no drains). The room was spacious, large, clean and equipped with everything you need to relax... air condition, slippers, bathrobes, a expresso coffee maker and a mini bar refilled daily. And the best was the view from the balcony .... breathtaking, wonderful direct ocean view to beach and palm trees. The room was practically located on the beach! The majority of hotel guests were Italians and Czech. All guests were very polite and quite, always with a smile on their faces. We booked full board. The choice of food was not huge, but nobody stayed hungry, everything was tasty, and the best were seafood and grilled fish. We had a restuarant on the beach, so the view was just perfect. Hotel staff was extremely pleasant, friendly and unobtrusive. Really high hospitality. The most beautiful sunsets on the island right away from your sunbed or balcony, long beach walks along the warm ocean to Kendwa beach (1.5km), the view from the bed in the morning on the turquoise ocean and palm trees...all of that made us feel like we are in paradise! The only thing missing in the area is any evening entertainment ... the nightlife ends at 23 pm. But that's how it is in the whole island. Plus in My Blue there is a nice pool bar open till midnight with delicious drinks. We rented a car and two days we spend on travelling around the island. That was really the best way to see everything like Jozani Park, Spice Farm, Kuza Cave, Jambiani, Paje, Pondwe and many other places and beaches. We highly recommend staying at the My Blue Hotel. We spend a perfect vacation!

My Blue Hotel is simply the place where you want to spend your holiday in paradise: set on the most beautiful bay with white sand and turquoise water. Local and expat staff always smiling and friendly with only one goal in mind: make you get the most out your time there. Always big variety of food and spacious comfortable rooms. We also enjoyed all the services provided at the hotel: great dive centre, awesome Spa, nice shopping at the boutique and lovely drinks t the beach bar to accompany the sunset show! We will definitely be back and once again big asante sana to those who made our stay memorable.
