This was my fourteenth time sampling Ant's hospitality. There is a real person named Ant (Anthony) and his wife Tess who own the reserve. Normally I go to Ant's Hill, but this time I decided not to be a "Hillbilly" and to visit the Nest. I found that the Nest was just as hospitable as the Hill. The rooms are... More

My 8 yr. old daughter and I spent 6 days at Ant's Hill in late May this year (2016). We had a wonderful time and I would recommend it to others without hesitation. The staff were all friendly, helpful and approachable. The accommodation was breathtaking and spotlessly clean. The food was plentiful, varied and of a high standard. We had... More

A unique experience to "get close" to the Bush through wonderful walks, horse rides, and game drives. The incredibly friendly people of Ants Collection, wonderful food, stunning accommodation and a not too regimental routine made for the most amazing, relaxing stay. Also highly educational for children and adults alike.

We visited here in June for the first 3 days of our honeymoon and had such a lovely time. The staff were all lovely and very attentive. The food was good, our room was very private and extremely comfortable and I had two heavenly massages. We saw amazing wildlife and thought the guides were very knowledgable and friendly. We joined... More

In June this year we returned to Ant's nest for our 4th visit, but this time was different - this time we were attending the annual game census, a special event where guests help the staff to count and help relocate certain animals as part of the reserve's breeding programs and conservation practices. Unlike the usual approach, where the times... More

The lodge staff are friendly, good fun and always around to help with any questions or issues you have. A big thanks to Ant, Pippa, Fred, Wiehen & Lee-Ann for making us... More

I have spent 4 nights at the Hill and 8 nights in the Nest and I have immensely enjoyed both locations. The teams are making such a good job in taking care of one, from the "morning wake up" till the 3 course evening dinner, the activities - especially the rides with great horses und very good guides on your... Our family of five stayed at Ant's Nest for five days in June. Ant's is a great alternative to the big five safari lodges because it offers a greater variety of activities (e.g., horseback riding, mountain biking, nature walks, guided runs and guided drives). The terrain is hilly and offers nice long range views. Overall, the landscape was much more... More

What an amazing place to stay and experience the bush. Everything was perfect. Accommodation, staff, horses, riding, food, I could go on and on.
