On arriving to these special, private, well decorated lodges you might find flower arrangements from the owners gardens, suggestions for food from their caterer or advised hikes or bike ride trails. Be careful not to run into a giraffe or zebra as you bird the lovely lakes and streams. People from the US would do best with ordering from the...

We have been visiting Lindani for the past 8 years and we will never tire of this magnificant place. It is the perfect family getaway. Peaceful and serene and safe enough for children to explore, ride bikes and enjoy nature. Every lodge has special touches. Fresh flowers waiting on the table. Meals in the fridge which have been ordered from...

We have just returned from our second 4 day break at Lindani. We stayed at the tented camp which is perfectly set out, with a great balance between feeling like you are in the bush but with all the required amenities. Its a perfect getaway for kids who can ride their bikes safely across the many fairly flat sand roads....

If there were 6 stars, I'd give it!! We (4 families) stayed at the Motseng lodge, and it was amazing. A truly brilliant self catering stay with everything we could have wanted. The Mountain Bike trails were some of the best we have ever experienced.

Hard to believe that a week has passed since we were at Maroela Cottage at Lindani (10th to 13th August). What a peaceful setting with the watering hole not even a stones throw away from the cottage. Saw so many animals nearly all day long. The cottage was delightful well appointed with everything you could possibly need loved the gas...

We started our South African holiday at Lindani, and stayed in Mareola. The service was second to none and we were so grateful for the kindness shown to us by Glenys and Sooli. We arrived having had our car broken into in Pretoria and without the help of these two lovely people I don't k ow what we would have...

This is a wonderful place, so comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed to make the visit enjoyable. It is so peaceful and yet there is lots to do if you are energetic, like walking and mountain biking, but the tranquility of sitting and watching the resident warthogs and hundred birds is so restorative and enjoyable. The service from all...

We spent the weekend raising awareness for the Waterbergs Wild Dogs. The Waterberg is the last place within South Africa outside of protected areas where these wonderful carnivores still reside in very low numbers. They do pass through Lindani every now and then. We put up posters throughout the Waterberg to encourage the public to report sightings. Motseng Lodge was...
