We were a family of 16, 8 children, 8 adults ranging from 5 years to 76 years and we had a fabulous time at Mountain Range. There were bedrooms everywhere, lots with en suites, plus two lounges , one with huge bar area, a modern and large kitchen, laundry, in fact everything we needed to celebrate a late Christmas Dinner and a number of birthdays. The children had plenty of room outside to play cricket, chasey etc and to run their drones and the outdoor setting was marvellous as we ate a leisurely dinner into the long summer evenings. Activities were all close, the Lake a 10 minute walk away and Iron Mountain called the fit ones every morning for a walk. One disappointment was the spa bath wasnt available to us as it was in need of repair. One of our children was in a wheelchair and we had no problems.

I recently stayed in Mountain Range with my and my husband's families (15 people total). We had chosen to have our wedding there too, including the reception dinner, and it was a perfect venue - the immaculate gardens, spacious outdoor dining areas, luxuriously appointed rooms and lounge/dining areas, and amazing hot tub to relax afterwards when all the guests had gone home! Thank you Mel and Stuart for making our time in NZ and our wedding unforgettable <3

I stayed here for a few days with a large group. It was perfect. The setting is beautiful with every bedroom (there are a lot!) having the most spectacular views. The hot tub is a great way to end the day, particularly given how bright the stars are out there but can only fit 4-6 people in (comfortably). Love to go back there one day. Truly fantastic!

Wanted a place to have a family reunion where we could cooked together, have dinners around the table, sleep in comfortable beds with high quality bedding and have our own bathrooms. This place for filled all these requirements and more. Grounds were private, there was room to hang out together or spend time alone, and it exceeded my expectations tenfold. It made for a wonderful reunion that we will remember with great fondness. Thanks you so much for this oasis in Wanaka!
