My husband and I stayed here for four nights at the start of our honeymoon trip. Helen and Wayne were absolutely charming and nothing was too much trouble. In fact, they went above and beyond their call of duty to help us out with local knowledge, suggestions of hikes etc. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom was...

We spent 10 days in NZ travelling around the South Island. Wanaka is in the middle of our travel and it surprised us with the spectacular view of the lake Wanaka and lake Hawea. The town itself is energetic with local people but not those crowded travels and commercial stuffs, and so it gives us a good feel of enjoying...

Helen and Wayne were so friendly and provided us with good information on where to eat etc. Helen greeted us with afternoon tea and Wayne joined us. In the morning Wayne gave us a grand tour of the area and showed us the Trout in a stream nearby. The accommodations were quite comfortable and the breakfast very tasty.

From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel so welcome. Helen is an awesome hostess who goes out of her way to provide you with everything you need to make your stay memorable. Helen offered afternoon tea and we chatted for a while to unwind after our trip. The view of the lake and surrounding...

We loved staying at this purpose built b&b with Helen and Wayne, modern, efficient, warm welcome, great breakfast and an easy walk into town. We loved our well equipped room with its private patio under the peach tree. Helen gave us the scoop on the town and lent us a detailed (very necessary) map for our walk. Would stay here...

Helen and Wayne are the most wonderful hosts. From the start they were very welcoming and willing to help us out in any way possible. Helen gave us a great deal of suggestions for our time in Wanaka and made every effort to make us feel at home. Her breakfasts were fantastic and she used that time to get to...

From start to end of our little break away we could not fault our stay with Helen and Wayne. Our welcoming cool drink and the intro to our accommodation and surrounds makes you feel totally at ease. Our room was spotlessly clean with every extra detail lovingly placed, the large bed is super comfy, the small fridge very handy along...

We stayed at D'lavande B&B for one night in September and the coziness of the place and friendliness of the hosts made it one of the best stays in my NZ trip. Helen and Wayne were very friendly and caring hosts. I felt we were very well taken care of at our stay. Before we arrived, they had given us...

Helen and Wayne made us feel right at home and gave us great advice for what to do and see. Location is walkable to attractions but in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful sleep. Provence room was very comfortable and clean. Beautiful gardens and homegrown fruits. Many delicious choices for breakfast.
