This was our first trip to Fiji and we are so glad we stayed at this resort. We loved every minute of it. The resort itself is stunning; beautiful gardens, pools and buildings. Staff are incredibly polite, friendly and professional. There are endless activities and spaces for kids! A special shout out to Leba from the kids club - who our little man had such a great time with! Food wise - plenty of different options to cater for what you feel like eating (we did not do the all inclusive to ensure we could try different things). The staff even organised some medication we needed to be delivered directly to the resort so that we did not have to take a taxi to town! Thank you! We cant wait to come back!
First of all I have to say this is a really great place. The quality of rooms, inclusions, pool, resort grounds etc etc all fantastic. But the thing that makes this a five star review is the staff, they are truly amazing. For someone who needed a relaxing holiday, the staff were just the best - the resort should be so proud of them all. They were so hard working and nothing was too much trouble. Just want to thank Rosi especially as one of the many staff that made the holiday so very special and made us feel like family. The resort is about 30min drive from Nadi airport and when there is a 5min taxi (or 25min walk) to Denarau Marina. There are a whole lot of resorts next door to each other and you can walk into and through the other resorts if you like. We were there at the beginning of May and it was a perfect time. The weather and sea temp was just awesome. I understand from the locals this weather pretty much stays the same until the wet season starts in November and goes till March. For a few tips - if travelling as a couple (I was) you definitely need to know that there are a lot of kids at this resort. The staff do a good job at keeping couples a bit separate (eg. adults only pool, adults only breakfast dining option and a bar at the front of the resort). The food is also pretty good but is better if ordering off the al a cart menus. Anything involving fish is incredible. The seafood platter is a must (even if you are on a package and have to pay extra). The buffet is ok for a day or two but after that you will probably want a change. Also, the only food that wasnt completely great was the asian food, I think they just dont have the ingredients to make it properly and avoid making anything too spicy. I booked the all inclusive food with a drink package and highly recommend this as the way to go. The ocean at the front of the resort is fine for swimming but not snorkeling. I suggest you stick to the pool. We did a couple of day trips out to snorkel and it was some of the best I have ever done anywhere in the world. The day trips can be a bit pricey if just booked with the tour companies, but we found some really great deals after asking around. After such a long time of not being able to travel or only travel in Australia (low quality, expensive), it was so great to go somewhere that really knows how to look after visitors and provide a very high quality experience for a reasonable cost. I would go back next week if I could. Highly recommend.…
Our 11 family members had 3 units to stay in. They were all very appropriate: My husband and I were in a sea view room, the other family members had garden view family units cleverly designed. The resort was beautifully maintained, the gardens and amenities were delightful. Staff in all situations were friendly and helpful.
This was our first trip to Fiji, and our first time staying in a resort of this calibre, and we loved every minute of it. The resort itself is stunning; beautiful gardens, pools and buildings. Staff are incredibly polite, friendly and professional. We hope to come back soon. Vinaka!
Pros - Facilities are great - Food options are ok Cons - Late check-in. Room wasn't ready until 4pm (check-in time is 3pm). And even then, reception still checked us in, only for us to get to the room with the housekeepers still in there. - Made several queries to front desk via the room phone to which I was told they would call me back. They never called back on 3 separate occasions - Room-service food took 1 hour. Only order from there if you want to be hungry - Staff are friendly, but consistently provide incorrect information on hotel activity dates and times, and locations. Could be a great resort but the poor service has made it a less than mediocre stay. Also noting I am a gold member with Radisson and this is the level of service that the resort was happy to provide me with.…
We stayed twice for one night each way from Sydney to our main destination on Vomo Island. A nice resort with all you could want in pools and modern, spacious rooms. Service certainly wasn’t as friendly as other locations in Fiji or compared to all of our past experiences staying on one of the Yasawa or Mamanuca islands. The staff at island resorts are so much happier and welcoming. You are like family and not just another hotel guest. Breakfast had all the basic buffet provisions although the juice tasted quite watered down and food was bland. It was nothing more than above average for this type of hotel/resort.
Each to their own, but felt let down that this hotel was just like staying on the Gold Coast in Australia. Clean rooms, but the atmosphere was not Fijian. Meals were fine and staff friendly. A very sterile hotel. Pool areas very noisy with children. Will be staying at an adults only resort next time. Top dollar compared to other resorts away from Denarau Island.
Wonderful atmosphere and amazing service as soon as we arrived. Very polite and helpful. Only down side is if you don't book in for dinner you can't just do a walk in. I would also suggest to buy water from a supermarket as you will be charged alot in resorts.
Perfect family holiday. Great rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Great location. Very easy to do day trips from this location. Nice and close to the airport do no time list in transit. Would highly recommend the Radisson Denarau.
Amazing resort! The facilities are quite new and very well maintained which is rare for Fiji. Great staff, lots of entertainment, stunning territory (and you can easily walk to explore adjacent hotels as well). Very professionally managed. I wish we could stay for longer.
