Very nice hotel, with central position. Clean and cosy.
With a beautiful green garden to take your breakfast.
The first floor has spacious rooms overlooking to the park.
Anyway, if you are visiting Paysandu, I recommend you to stay at this hotel.

From what we could gather, this is the best place for lodging in Paysandú. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the park and the bath was beautifully done.
The staff was very helpful and the two residents dogs were funny and a great addition to the property. The breakfast is served in a sunny area and was good, nothing special, just good.

The hotel is in a good location across the street from the park and basilica and it offers secure parking. There are several restaurants and shopping nearby but do take the time and drive to Casa Blanca to La Pulperia, you won't be disappointed. The staff can make a reservation for you.

The only complaint we had was that the wifi in our room did not work. If we went into the hallway, it worked fine. The other issue is that there is no elevator so you have to schlep your bags up the stairs. We did not see anyone who could assist.

Hotel Casagrande is like a rara avis in a city like Paysandú, where good taste is in short supply. A very nice surprise. Excellent service. I recommend the scones at breakfast. I recommend the rooms that overlook the garden: you breathe tranquility.

Adequate. Charming but old property. No safe deposit box. If one has a sweet tooth, the cakes, tarts and pies served for breakfast (this also is a tea room so the baked goods are served here) would make the traveler happy. Perhaps this is the best available in this dusty town.

Hotel Casagrande was a pleasant surprise. It is an old converted house with a lot of character. The rooms are nicely furnished and the bathroom was spacious. The only eason I did not give 5 stars is that the wifi did not work in my room, though it functioned very well in the lobby.

Small boutique hotel. Perfect for the city. The rooms at first floor are better in space and view of the principal square of the city. The ones at level floor are small but comfortable. The furniture and design of the common places is like being at home. The breakfast is perfect everything like homemade. We enjoyed our stay

Nice, quality hotel. It's a huge house that has been turned into a hotel. The single-person rooms are not too large but they are fine. The location is perfect: in front of the Constitution square and in the middle of the downtown, shopping are.
The lobby is great and quiet and it has a nice back yard. I had a really nice stay.

Hotel overlooks main square...has many interesting furnishings. Rooms a bit small, but not unusual here. Free wifi, no English tv. Lovely breakfast served in a sunny room at the back overlooking the garden. Staff very helpful. Our friends stayed at the grand hotel...Casagrande was much nicer!

Very well received by the helpful staff, and also by the friendly resident dogs, Polly and Pepin, which certainly give the hotel a distinctive character.
We had a simple but nice and very clean room with wooden floor and most importantly the bed was very comfortable making for a good night's sleep after a long drive.Unusually for a boutique hotel , the bathroom was a decent size with a proper working shower.
Location is excellent and breakfast was good with lots of home made pastries. The open wood burning fire adds to the atmosphere of coziness,
There is small and pleasant garden at the back where you can relax among the plants (weather permitting) and enjoy the company of the dogs. Only drawback was the difficulty in getting a good Wi Fi signal.

I stayed for 2 nights here in February and I loved it. My room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the teabags were Tetley (imported from the UK) which was a nice surprise. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to understand my very poor Spanish. I would recommend this hotel.
