I've traveled through more than 30 nations and have rarely--maybe never--met a staff so eager to help. All you have to do is ask. Plus, walk out on the lawn for a beautiful view of the ocean. I spent a morning sitting on a bench beneath a palm tree, watching parasailers take off and land from the sandy beach below.

Nick and Ana are terrific for their customer relation. People at all level are doing their best for the productivity of the business as well as customer satisfaction. Food service was excellent, available from 8 am to 9pm,any combination of menu upon request. Large backyard well maintained with diverse plants and colorful flowers. Beach is accessible but the condition is... More

Very nice hotel right on the beach. Analia Ledesma and her husband are absolutely excellent hosts and went way beyond expectations to tell us places to visit as we drove around. The room had sleeping for 7 people and we ordered seafood platter and they made us the biggest seafood platter I have every seen( there were four of us... More

Very helpful English speaking staff. Lovely balcony off room. Great access to beach. Staff helped with Spanish menu translation. Staff helped in giving us pointers to visit locations along the coast highway as we drove south.

This is my second time at this resort. I was there first for the World Cup and last week. The accommodations are fine. The food is very tasty. The new chef does a great job with the seafood.. Arroz Mixto is the best. The rooms are nice. You are not there to spend a lot of time in your room.... More

If you want to get infected with all types of fungi and mycoses, enjoy their pool!!!!!!!!! Or maybe could be in the sheets or bathroom... Only God knows... Besides of wanting to charge all nights that I had already paid in advance, charge wrong consumptions, the sympathy there is in second place. I don't recommend!

Tonsupa is definitely off the map but this little gem is all you need! If you're planning on going to tonsupa this is the place you want to stay. The rooms are great and it looks like they're getting renovated. They are simple but nice. Tv, bed, bathroom, Nice comfy beds, a cool little balcony that you can see the... More

They have a lot of space to walk and to spend time, a really nice backyard and good pool. Great and charm service, you note they are concerned about that. It´s a family business and that gives you a close relationship with part of the staff, and makes them very friendly . They are working hard on service, but it´s... More

Older resort with nice landscaping and fruit trees, right on the beach. It has plenty of big and old palm trees. This hotel was probably the first on the beach and was later surrounded by new Hi Rise hotels and condos. The food was good and included a great breakfast buffet on the weekend. Rooms were older but the view... More

We drove into town late one evening looking for a place to stay and Hotel Puerto Ballesta caught our eye. From the outside, it has quite a bit of character and seems to be off the beaten path. The lobby and the pool/grounds - and even the walkway to the beach - were quaint and showed lots of promise. Unfortunately,... More
