I booked a flight/hotel package for 2 nights here thru Iceland Travel and flew Air Iceland from Reykjavik in just under 2 hours with a 2 hour time difference. The hotel manager Jesper picked me up at the airport yet he is rather uncommunicative. Manu from Italy worked at the front desk and also tended bar and was friendly as... More

This hotel is just a short walk down from the airport - you can take the minibus but the walk is a good start to the visit. The rooms are a bit on the small side and seem only to be twin rooms - no doubles. The hotel overlooks the sea on one side and the hills on the other... More

Kulusuk is certainly in the hinterlands of coastal Greenland, so because of this isolation, one shouldn't expect too much as far as accommodation is concerned. However, despite some initial dubious perspectives when looking at the hotel from the exterior, the facility is actually very functional, with pretty good but limited lounge facilities, but also with a relatively large and comfortable... I stayed here twice, before and after a paddling trip. The accommodation was basic but comfortable, and the hot water never ran out! The room staff, kitchen help and receptionist were very nice, and helpful. The manager/shuttle driver was unwelcoming, sullen, basically non-communicative and did not appear to appreciate our business. The food was excellent, and plentiful. Too bad my... More

The only place in Kulusuuk to go other than the airport if you need civilisation. The best coffee I'd had in a while although I had been out on glaciers drinking instant for the previous two weeks) and the fact it is help yourself and bottomless for approx £1 is great. If you can stay for happy hour (6 -... More

I stayed here one night as a part of a tour and was impressed by the friendly hospitality. My room was clean and comfortable along with a nice hot shower. The view from my room was simply amazing. Wi-Fi is available from 50 DKK for 30 minutes. Restaurant also available with a nice lunch served for 200 DKK. While there... More

When your flight gets cancelled out of Kulusuk airport you can guarantee that you'll be put up here while waiting for the weather to improve. It's nothing special - hot showers, warm rooms and plenty of food in the buffets at meal times are the main things to recommend the place. The view is great from the dining room though.

I stayed here recently due to a flight delay and having come from camping on the sea ice with no facilities - this place was like a warm and comfortable haven. Rooms were functional but appropriate for the environment it is located in. Hot showers, toilets that flush and decent food are not to be sniffed at in what can... More

In reviewing this hotel it is important to put the area in which it is located into context. Kulusuk is a very small East Greenland hunters village (population est 250) so the airport is small too. The hotel is simple rather than sophisticated. The room were clean with some awesome views. There is a small bar and the restaurant offers... More

Hadn't planned a stay here, but weather intervened...
