I decided to choose a different type of experience, as I have to travel to Fajardo several times a year for work and wanted to something off the beaten path and away from the usual beach stays. The website information seemed very inviting. I had planned to stay for 3 days. Unfortunately due to cancelled flights, I was not able... More

El Hotelito was everything I imagined and more! My fiancé and I traveled to Puerto Rico for the first time and we're so happy we choose El Hotelito as our home for the week. We stayed for seven nights and ventured out everyday and never once had an issue with the road (we rented a nissan versa, nothing special). There... More

Beautiful spot in the middle of rain forest. The house has great sights, decoration and comfortable rooms, and Rafael (the manager) was very welcoming and had the courtesy of grabbing dinner for us! (we forgot to tell him in advance to prepare something for dinner). Our room was not air conditioned but we did not miss it! We opened the... More

We had a great time there! Beautiful hotel, location, view and atmosphere. Very unique hotel that offers a one of kind rainforest experience. Raphael was very friendly, genuine, and welcoming. He made a great breakfast and gave helpful advice on local restaurants and catching the ferry. It was a personal environment that you can Not get in any other hotel.... More

Wonderful location, nestled in the rain forest. Open-air living where the only walls are around the bedrooms and bathroom. There was always a breeze during our stay. All living areas are open to the beautiful views. Bedrooms have shuttered windows, but know screens or glass. So you are one with nature. Our room had a mosquito net over the bed.... More

Our stay at el hotelito was mesmerizing. The views are fantastic, the pool refreshing, sleeping in an open air room listening to the sounds of the rainforest was intoxicating and dining el fresco with the most simple and delicious homemade puerto rican food was priceless. The owners of El Hotelto, the Benitez family, are unpretentious, friendly and helpful but also... More

El Hotelito is a very unique guest house. It is best suited for people who love the outdoors. If you want a real rain forest experience this is the place to stay. I loved the room with the beautiful view of the forest, mountains, Fajardo and ocean. It is very rustic so if you are a person who loves 5... More

Just like all the reviews say- not your typical hotel room. It's a rainforest experience. It starts with the drive up there, don't worry your rental car will make it. Either bring dinner or notify in advance you want to eat dinner up there, which is what I recommend. Tasty yet simple meal. Good hiking trails that don't feature the... More

The place looks great, adorable room arrangements, rustic chic. Yes the road is a bit bumpy, but its a part of adventure. It is beautifully located with half the view over the sea and half over the mountains. Comfortable bed and great forest sounds. We wished the breakfast would be a bit heavier... like eg eggs like on other pictures,... More

This place rekindled pleasant memories of backpacking through Europe in the 80's. The twisty, rutted, uphill road can be conquered at 8 miles an hour but some judiciously placed concrete would make it more likely that you'll return the rental in one piece. Rafael Jr. is a nice guy who claims to love cooking but the meal he made was... More

Hello Stephen A, Thanks so much for staying with us and for taking time out of your busy schedule to review our property. I really don't know what to think about your review, you give us a positive score and say nice things about us but then you throw in some passive aggressive stabs in the back that don't make...
