I went to PR for the first time with my son (10) years old; I didn’t know anything about the property, I reviewed the comments and guide myself for that. I have been working in hospitality industry for 23 years, so I know when a property is good or bad 90% of the time lol …. Well let me tell you something, this property is amazing, from the location to the customer service… located in a beautiful mountain of Fajardo, soooo many amenities for the entire family (2) pools, mini-golf, main pool was spectacular w slide for the kids, they need a little maintenance but fun, basketball hoops inside the pool, in the main pool you will find pool bar, amazing music (typical PR salsa) love it, park for the kids, basketball court, tennis court, nature every where you look, green views everywhere. Free Parking , rooms nice, clean and comfy (they need a little update) but they’re nice w balcony 🤩 Amazing customer service from the staff, very hospitable, they make you feel yourself at home. The only thing I can say not bad, but they need improvements ( the food and restaurants) Not room service, just one restaurant open for breakfast, but the food quality is very poor, not too many choices… so get yourself ready to eat outside for breakfast-lunch and dinner *you can order food after 11:30am at the main pool, but it’s fast food, btw amazing drinks *(I’m pretty sure is because they don’t have staff) but they can do better on the quality of the food; not fruits or natural juices. Overall they’re very good. I’ll definitely go back with my entire family but I’ll go first to the supermarket lol 😆 *convenience store close by (10-15min) drive. - Fajardo: Amazing beaches, amazing people, very hospitable, views, nature, attentive people and polite. 🙌🏼💙🌊🍃

The room was comfy, ther is a coffee maker but the receptionist didn’t ask if we need coffee so I bought it in a market near by. For me it’s important those little details. The area where we’re designated was nice, but guest were too noisy. Pool was clean and the water had the right temperature. This place is near the Marina and from other beautiful areas to visit like Las Croabas and Las Cabezas de San Juan Reserve that makes it ideal to stay.

Found this very affordable resort on eastern side of Puerto Rico. You won’t find a better price with the amenities, though restaurants are closed without any foreseeable reopening and very unclear if/when the gym is open. We went with our 1-year old son with goals of visiting El Yunque, then catching a flight over to Vieques for the remainder of the trip. Great location for both. We had a great time hiking at El Yunque and coming back to enjoy the huge pool. My 1 year old son loved the water and playing with the basketballs in the pool. The pool bar was convenient and bartender made great mojitos. Room was on second floor with balcony with nice view of the ocean. One king bed with enough space for a pack and play. Just outside our room was a second smaller pool “Palmetto’s Pool” as well as a large terrace with covered picnic benches which was perfect for us to enjoy takeout meals. Plenty of great food options within very short driving distance, as well as grocery stores. There are two restaurants advertised but have been closed for a while even though it is advertised on their phone. Fitness center is large and fully equipped gym with what looks like everything you could need, however was never open when we were there. It’s advertised as 7 days a week but we were told Mon-Fri only, but it was also closed on the Friday that we were there so who knows. 5 stars for beautiful grounds and decent rooms, lost one star for things not being open. Would definitely still stay again though.

The Inn exceeded our expectations- the room was clean, spacious and comfortable with beautiful amenities, a breakfast restaurant on site, and staff who were always friendly and accommodating. Great stay!

We stayed at Fajardo Inn for two nights at the end of our trip with our two young kids. It was find for a quick stay. Our room had a strong mildew smell and a super loud dehumidifier that would run through the night. We could have unplugged it, but didn't want to add to the mildew situation. My biggest complaint is that we didn't have any hot water. All I wanted was a shower before heading to the airport for a long day of travel. I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance guy quickly. But he just confirmed there was an issue. There was no resolution and no hot shower. There was a long black hair in my kids' bed. when I pulled back the covers on the first night. That gave me the heebie jeebies. Everything else seemed clean. I've never had to sign so many "waivers" in my life for a hotel. Three before checking in, one when we got our beach towels, and another one when we requested clubs for the mini-golf course. (You have to get those from the lobby - not the pool bar which would be logical.) I know loss-prevention is important to a hotel, but it felt less than hospitable. We stayed at 2 other hotels in PR and borrowed boogie boards, towels, snorkel fins and never signed a thing. The pool was awesome. The kids loved the waterslide. The bar staff was nice. The putt-putt course was in a bit of disrepair, but it made things more exciting and challenging. The kids loved it! The whole time we were at El Yunque our 6 year old kept asking when we could go back for more putt-putt. The nicer restaurant wasn't open when we stayed, so the only option for dinner on-site was the pool-bar. The breakfast was fine (not included) but I felt bad for the waiter. They were understaffed and he was literally running between tables -- he was working so hard the former server in me wanted to put an apron and help him out. The individuals working were all very kind and hospitable. The security guard was warm and welcoming. It was more that the hotel polices seemed less-than inviting. At the end of the day, it definitely was not worth $300+ a night.

The staff was not friendly in the way the staff at other hotels were. It was immediately clear we were a burden. When I asked for 2 beds for a mother and her 18-year-old daughter, who hates to sleep with anyone, I was told that I needed to talk to Agoda. Agoda is not responsible for customer service. Both rooms are the same price on multiple sights. Why be mean? We had a balcony...overlooking the parking lot. Why would I want to look at a parking lot. I don't smoke and see no other reason for this kind of balcony. I was already let down because of a cancelled tour and the staff just didn't care. We ordered food at the only restaurant open at the facility. I watched as a VERY KIND employee took food out of the freezer and thawed it in the microwave to fry calamari and fish. I let that go but it was inedible. The ceviche I ordered was full of mushy peppers and onions. The fried foods were deep brown and stinky due to old oil. Our room now smelled of horrible fried food. Nothing like the fish-fresh and melt in your mouth- and the freshest ceviche with crisp vegies I had at other restaurants. We didn't eat it. Our room now smelled horrible and we slept with it. When my daughter was tired and we wanted to stay another night(only until 10pm because we had a 1am flight), we were told we would have to move to get a better rate, about a $20 difference. Really, how did that benefit the hotel. They would have had to clean 2 rooms instead of 1. We left and went to the beach instead of having a relaxing day by the pool. We went to a T-mobile venue with live music next to a casino. It was fun but she really wanted to relax and I loved your pool and the grounds. Hospitality at this hotel is just lacking. I could see if you didn't have available rooms but they did have available rooms based on a web search and it was not that hard. They lost money in the end. The food was horrible, the young server was kind and efficient but it only matters if the food tastes good. The hotel should have been better than that but they don't seem to care about the customer experience. BTW, the grounds and the pool are beautiful. The pools are hard to get to. The hot tub was COLD.

Amazing service specially for a late check in. The grounds are beautiful with lots of tropical flowers and fruit trees. There are a couple of beautiful pools. front staff and cleaning staff where very helpful and accommodating. I didn’t give it a 5/5 because the beds could use new mattresses and the doors some oil. I definitely would recommend the Fajardo Inn

We really liked this hotel. Very centralized location for the things we wanted to do. Clean spacious rooms And the housekeepers came in daily to tidy up our room. The shower had great water pressure and was nice and roomy. We had a balcony room overlooking the pool and the town. I looooved the African Gray bird that would greet us in the lobby. The only drawback was there was no coffee on the hotel property. We had to drive to get coffee and breakfast. If there was coffee in the lobby this hotel would have gotten 5 stars from us. We will definitely return and we look forward to seeing this hotel with more amenities.

We arrived at around noon, hoping to drop our bags and head to the beach before returning after the 4pm check-in time. We were met at the gate by a security guard who said we could not enter until after 4. We asked him to check with the front desk to see if we could check in early or leave bags, and they said neither was possible. When we returned to check in, we showed our vaccine cards, but my son had only a photo of his card. This is all that's ever been required in Minnesota, and indeed everywhere else we've been in Puerto Rico, but the hotel insisted that the actual card was required. We argued a bit and they eventually relented, but for a while we were afraid we would have to find a different hotel at the last minute. There are 3 restaurants on site, but only one was open, and only for takeout. We had dinner from it, and the food was not very good, and we never received the beverages we ordered. We called and they explained that they did not have enough staff to make the drinks we ordered. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The large pool was closed due to COVID, but the small one was very nice, and we spent quite a bit of time there . After the initial check-in the staff was kind and helpful. We hope this place can get back on its feet - it has the potential to be a really nice place to stay.

Worst customer service. We have a group of 50. We are out doors and yet they are acting like it’s Covid day 1. They have a strict protocol and really bad manager. I would recommend not to come here. The drive from San Juan to Fajardo is not long and better customer service there.
