We travel for the experience and hope new and interesting people and places The grand hotel is a bit of a flashback to the '70s but is comes with a clean comfortable bed and a good shower in the bathroom so just perfect for a quick stay and excellent value

The location is great, in the centre, very close to the main square and all nice cafes and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The interior is old, needs a serious restoration. Rooms are spacious with big bed and sitting area, big windows, quiet. The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. The bathroom was old and sad with...

Although this is a 3* hotel, there was no blow drier in a premium hotel room and whenever someone in a room above us flushed the toilet, you could literally hear the water flow through the pipes. Apart from this, everything you can expect from such a hotel.

I found the staff a little surly. I asked to use the hot tub which they advertise and was told that it had to be reserved and that there was a fee. After I acted a little peeved they relented and let me use it. It was lukewarm. We were kept awake by partiers from an adjacent building. Rooms otherwise...

Stayed here for 1 night. The room is very spacious with a large bedroom and bathroom. There is a small gravel car park but we parked our motorbike on the pathway leading to the hotel and secured it to a pole. The hotel is in city centre. The staff spoke good English and breakfast was good too with a selection...

First of all - no, this hotel should not have 4-stars ranking. There were some room equipment missing, as hair draier for example. The apartement room was big, but interior was a little bit old and had some "used by years" feeling. The elevator operates from 0 to the 3rd floor, if you have your room on the 4th floor,...

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was clean, but bathroom would need some replacements, especially shower. Elevator is running only to 3rd floor and you need to take stairs to 4th floor - might be an issue for families with small kids. There is a church just few meters away from hotel which rings bells every morning at 6am....

I stayed in this hotel for one night. The position of the hotel is very good and this is probably the only advantage of this hotel. In the principle nice building but without character, atmosphere, very impersonal. And also: 4* hotel should looks differently. This is less then 3 star hotel. My room was small, very simple, quite noisy, without...

We were here on a business trip for almost a week. Rooms are quite small but clean, lift goes only to 3rd floor, but we were on the 4th and 5th. Breakfasts were sufficient, but lunches were not very tasty, once too salty then without any taste, meats were dry, like they are a longer time freezed and than unfreezed,...

“As the title of my review says, you should prefer the hotel rooms (it is only 10€/night plus).. It is another level! Much better. And you should ask for a room oriented to the main street, the view at the New Castle is gorgeous... The town is quiet at night so you do not have to worry of the noise..”
