Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable rooms, nice and clean. Service was excellent, particularly a lovely lady on reception- Olga- who was very professional and helpful with all of our silly questions! Spa is good, nice and relaxing. Breakfast is amazing :) Looking forward to going back sometime soon hopefully. Worth the extra spends. The only things I would say could be improved is the opening hours of the pool, I would have liked to swim before breakfast and stay by the pool later in the evening than 7pm. The air conditioning unit is also quite loud but you can't adjust the fan speed, it's either off or full blast.

My friend and me visited this hotel for 4 days. It is absolutely stunning. The pool and sunbeds are perfect and an outdoor bar. There are tables and chairs at the top end of the pool for outside dining. The spa is wonderful and I treated my self to a facial which was marvellous. The breakfast is great with a huge choice. The downstairs bar and lounge is a bit soulless but with everywhere else being so nice it didn't matter. I was with my friend and were a little disappointed that we had a double, not a twin room. The young man said they didn't have twin rooms. Whether this was a misunderstanding or they only have doubles I don't know. We did ask if we could have a kettle, to make our morning cups of tea but that wasn't possible. Apart from those two small negatives this is a stunning hotel in an amazing setting.

This is the nicest hotel on the island, which by itself is really beautiful and really worth a visit. The rooms are nice and clean, owing to a room service, which was the only thing in the hotel that was as well as expected. However I found the personnel inadequately trained. For a hotel that names itself as „international“, the staff spoke really ill English. From a “5 star hotel“ I find it reasonable to expect that the staff would be fluent in another language other its mother tongue. This caused such an inconvenience and left us(I was with my sister) with the feeling of an arrogant and unfriendly personnel at times because of the language barrier.A simple example: we needed an extra napkin during one breakfast and spent 5 minutes with three different staff members trying to explain what this „complicated apparatus“ is. They were naturally frustrated and came off very unfriendly. The expected variety at breakfast is rather a uniform choice, the peak being a quite disappointing offer of bread and fruits. The pool area is small and crowded, which means you have to go early enough in order to take a spot. There is whether complementary water nor fruits in the rooms, which I would absolutely always expect from a 5 star hotel. You are offered a card with which you can take just one towel during your stay, under the condition that you return it on your leave. I found this rather shameful for a 5 star hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the center from the hotel a couple of times a day, since the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the center. We decided to take the shuttle service on the way back one day, and to our disappointment the driver didn’t stop at the designated place. He had just made a U-turn and went back, so I had to call back at the hotel and complain for him to return and pick us up. Another thing that I found disappointing was that the allegedly private beach, is actually not private to the hotel at all. The dinner is always “table d'hote” with two different choices each night. I would have awaited a larger selection suited for different kinds of guests. All in all, overpriced and a quite disappointing “3 star hotel” experience.

Very nice hotel in a quiet part of the lovely quiet island of La Maddalena. Very comfortable - initial problems of a/c not working and some daft "technical advice" given. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, great poolside and lots of luxury small touches. Recommended - search out the bargains to make it even better

From start to finish this was an incredible experience. The hotel staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much too much trouble, not that we caused any! The breakfast was fresh and presented in an inviting way, cheeses and fresh honeycomb were two of my favorites. Cappuccino was delicious made with good strong Italian coffee. We asked for food and wine recommendations at the evening meal and the Semillon was really helpful and we fell in love with the local wine at first taste. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, as was the bread. We took a recommended sailing boat trip, 8 hotel guests, great experience, glorious scenery and the skipper shared his knowledge and passion for the area. We ate a lunch of pasta, fresh fish and bread and locally sourced wine! Buonissimo ( Very good)! We ran out of time because the weather was so good,so didn't make use of the spa which looked really nice.We ate our last lunch at a sleepy beach café, just down the hill from Ma & Ma with stunning views and our waiter couldn't speak much English, just how it should be, he understood our poor Italian and sign language and we ate catch of the day which was perfectly cooked and washed it down with sparkiling water and I almost forgot, beautifully selected house wine.
