Noisy party until I stopped them at 23.00 hours. No telephone contact at front door where we were meant to be able to ring owner who was unavailable on all 3 occasions I tried to ring. I see others had same problem. Bathroom unsafe and many problems with it- dangerous sockets; no towel rail; only 1 roll toilet paper; no bath mat and high shower onto slippery floor; no plug for basin and toilet didn't flush properly. Location good. Room size good.

The apartment is simple, nice and clean. Just a heads up their kitchen just has equipment and cleaning materials. If you decide to cook you will have to provide your own coffee, salt, pepper and oil. What is dodgy is they actually assigned us an apartment and when he tried to enter the room another person was already occupying the apartment. We tried to use the phone downstairs for help but it was not working and we did not have a local cell phone. We ended up going to the restaurant for help and luckily they identified the hotel across the street being from the same owner. Therefore, we had to go there to use their phone. When they answered they never asked me for my name...they just gave me another room number. Also no apologies. I do question the security of the apartment because they do email the clients the code to enter but I doubt they change the codes frequently so many people already have the passwords to the suits.

This was the most spacious place we stayed in Iceland. Stayed 2 nights. 2 beds, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, table, closet, dresser, TV, hair dryer. There is a keypad entrance to the room provided about a week before arrival. I did see some workers who seemed friendly enough but no reception which was fine for us. There is parking in the back on the water side. There is a new looking restaurant below the apartments and Hraun across the street. Bakari was also open for business. Liquor, grocery and gas station nearby. Our only issue was that someone had turned the fridge to the warmest setting so the frost and ice in the freezer had melted all over the floor and it smelled. We cleaned it up and sanitized with wipes we picked up at the store before using it. While here, we visited Kirkjufell mountain, hiked in Snaefellsjokull park and drove around the tip and back seeing the various stops along the way. It is pretty windy here, like many parts of Iceland. Ate at Hraun one night and bought groceries at the small local grocery store for snacks and ingredients for grilled cheese and tomato soup, eggs, bacon, skyr etc. It carries basic supplies. The fruit and veg were surprisingly fresh, even the avocados and strawberries. A bird sat on our window for awhile. We could see the water and boats from our window. Sunset and sunrise are pretty here. Internet did not seem very fast but I was able to stream to the TV from my Chromecast.

Room OK but the entire floor stunk of pungent curry. Some chinese were cooking and left left their doors open and the entire floor reeked of curry and its smell permeated the rooms/bathroom. awful smell There is no onsite manager. There is no WIFI, just the WIFI from the motel across the street. The rooms are advertised as soundproof, but are not.

A one night stay here after a huge day of hiking. The bed was like being in a cloud, the shower was excellent, the apartment was spotless and the little kitchen was perfect for putting a meal together.
