Lost and found is incredible and is certainly not to be missed. If you want to experience the true beauty of Panama away from the crowds this is your place! The hostel staff are so friendly and helpful, which makes your stay even better. Starting from the hostel there are a variety of trails that lead you deep into the... More

To see some of the true beauty of Panama in a friendly and congenial atmosphere, you can't do better than Lost and Found. Its easy to get to from either David or Boquete by one of the local buses - be careful to look out for the sign, There is a small coffee shop and fruit stall on the road... More

The people are very friendly and the tour activities are allot of fun. At night you can go to the bar and drink, play table football or play with huge jenga blocks. Maybe the food and drinks could be a little cheaper.

The Lost and Found has been one of our greatest experiences, and for sure the best in Panama. The hostel itself offers an breathtaking view over the forest from the dorms and the communal area for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is built like a charming little village. The staff's friendliness and the vibe of the hostel makes it very... More

I spent an excellent 3 nights at L&F and struggle to think of anything bad to say about it. The atmosphere is particularly open and friendly --sign up for the family-style dinner on the first night to meet the other new arrivals-- and the views from the main dining / social are incredible. The staff are warm and helpful. Just... More

We stayed a couple of nights here, in a dorm that was stacked very high (make sure you book bottom bunk if you have vertigo!). We did the treasure hunt round the site which was great as it rained most of the time we were there. It is full of backpackers talking about how they love Buddhism and then about... More

We wanted to stay for one night but, as stated on their website, stayed longer;) they have great dinners, with really good food at a long table where everyone gathers around to eat including the owner. The staff is really helpfull, they are all so down to earth. Lithitia (sorry if misspelled) is really sweet. The owner is funny and... More

Stayed at Lost and Found for three days. You'd be hard pressed to find a better view than Volcan Baru in the distance from the hostel, especially given the reasonable price of the hostel. Trails were excellent, extensive and well maintained. I'm a birdwatcher and found it very rewarding. Treasure hunt is fun and worth the hike, definitely better to... More

My friend and I are not into hiking at all, but we still really enjoyed the hostel. The view was great, the treasure hunt was cool, the coffee tour was excellent. Comfy beds, hot showers, really nice dinner every evening. Highly recommend this hostel!

I didn't stay at Lost and Found but did participate in their coffee tour. Nico is an excellent guide and translator and Don Cune has to be one of the sweetest men I've ever met. It's a great value too
